Ginetta G4 S5 Classic Sports Car Convertible Collectors Factory Built Kit

Hi and welcome to my auction for this much loved
Ginetta G4 S5
(Factory Built)

I first bought this car back in 2002 and then sold it when I got married. I then bought it back again in 2007 and have owned it ever since. so although it has 4 owners on the log book I have owned it twice.

I have been told by various sources including the original owner and the gentleman who built it in the Ginetta factory that it's the only
G4 S5 on the road and only 2 or 3 were ever built.

The S5 has Independent Rear Suspension using a modified rear set up from a Ford Sierra. this transforms the drive of the car and also gives a more comfortable ride from the S4 with it's live rear axle.

I have kept this car as original as I could but
I have changed the original seats for
Intatrim Voyager and 3 point harness belts
(comfort and a bit more safety feel)
I still have the original set of seats. seat belts and carpets
The original wheels it had were a cross wire (like BBS)
but sadly went missing when I took them off to refurb and moved
house and garage (dont ask!) so it now has
15" Stilauto refurbed in black 2010
I have bought some hood restorer at the last show we
went to but never got round to treating it.

The car has been off the road now for 2 years so is SORN
and has no MOT but weather permitting I will put
12 months MOT on for winning bidder
It should go straight through with no problems.

It is fiberglass at the end of the day and has some
crazing and cracking from stones. but apart from a
3" crack on the front were it rolled into a shelve
unit it polishes up fantastic.
