This custom 1951 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe is the product of a 5-year, frame-off, nut-and bolt restoration (2007-2011). It's powered by a custom-built, modified " captain bars' 261ci GM Stovebolt engine from a 1954-55 Chevy California dump truck, Competition Cam, that's shifted through a completely rebuilt Saginaw 4-speed manual transmission. This Fleetline is equipped with brand new dual single Daytona carburetors, Fenton manifold and split headers, Wayne valve covers, Vintage air conditioning and heating system and custom Borla exhaust. It's also equipped with a Fat Man Mustang II front end with 2-1/2” drop, Ford 8” rear end with 3.40 gears w/ 2” drop & front disc brakes. The exterior is finished in PPG Matte Black paint ( Harley Davidson Denim) with silver metallic blend and orange pin stripes, chromed original front and rear bumpers, new tinted glass and rubber & felts, and  15” vintage wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires. The interior by Wanda's & Oscar's of Southern Cal features new Bentley custom carpet, headliner and floor mats, a custom-painted dash housing Auto Meter gauges, Glide front seat,  Flaming River steering column topped with a Con2r steering wheel, Lokar pedals and handles, and a Pioneer custom audio system in the glovebox. This custom Chevy is outfitted with many other new parts including K&N filters, Flex-a-Lite fan and chrome air cleaners.

The car has been driven 4,000+ miles since completion, it's a crowd favorite and multiple trophy winner everywhere I've taken her since my purchase in 2019. This Southern California built Fleetline comes with a thick folder of build receipts detailing many aspects of the $60,000.00 build by a SEMA executive. It was also reported to be at one time co-owned by David Freiburger of "RoadKill" TV series. A future Rod & Custom magazine feature car was planned but never came about.

A $500.00 Custom car cover, indoor cotton is included.
