Great example of the MGB MK 2.

It has been my daily runner for the last year and has been very well looked after. I bought the car back in late August 2012. it had a complete body-off restoration in 2009 (parts replaced are listed on a spreadsheet). Then in May last year. it had a reconditioned Ivor Searle engine fitted. but unfortunately the last owner didn't have the engine bay painted at the same time.

Since I purchased the car I have replaced many parts which where looking a bit the worse for where. Most recently. due to running reliability I have replaced. the exhaust with an original one piece. it also has brand new 6V batteries and contacts. new alternator and last week the braking system was replaced including new master cylinder. brake servo. rear shoes. and rear driver's side slave cylinder. The rear sills where recently rust-treated and re-painted by a professional shop.

Good points are that the car has had all the main concerns of reliability addressed and is running well. The car is a factory-fitted automatic with a Borg Warner Type 35 gearbox. Taxed and MOT'd till August 2014

The main bad points on the car are that their is some slight rust coming through on the 4 corner flex points and there is a bit of rust coming through on the passenger door. Apart from that it is a truly great car. fun to drive and I will be sad to see it go.
