You are looking at a rust free 1967 Morris Minor Convertible with 83,000 original miles. Car is located in Port Saint Lucie, FL.

The back story:

I purchased this car in 2018, from an older gentleman, Mr. O'Brien, a retired aircraft engineer living in Jupiter, Florida. Mr. O'Brien grew up in the Bahamas. As a child he remembered his mother driving a '67 Morris Minor Convertible. Years Later, in 1995, he came across this car, sitting in an airplane hangar. He decided that he had to have it. The owner was convinced that it was time to sell, and so Mr. O'Brien ended up with the car.

A few years after purchasing the car, Mr. O'Brien decided that rather than just drive the car, in its current state, he would do a complete frame up restoration. He proceeded to disassemble the car, bagging and tagine every part, even parts that would later be replaced with new parts. Orders for new parts went out to shops in England, as well as in the USA. Letters, parts lists, personal notes, and brochures all come with the car. The car was sent out for sand blasting and epoxy primer, as well as undercoating ($2500 cost).

I have receipts for parts totaling roughly $1,000. These parts all look to be OEM parts, most of which were imported from England. Many extra spare parts will come with the car. Mr. O'Brien planned to keep the car and wanted lots of spare parts, just in case:)For a list of new parts, please see my pictures/video (bottom of listing)

In 2018 Mr. O'Brien's health took a turn for the worse, and that is how I ended up with the car. I love this little car, but I have decided I need to focus my time and energy on my baby, a 1972 Datsun 240Z:). I believe this car to be an excellent candidate for restoration. It will need, among other things, I'm sure, a new top, one new side window (a flat piece of glass, from a glass shop), carpeting, body work, paint, and re-assembly.

Last month I put the engine and transmission back in the car. I drove the car around the neighborhood. The car runs great, easy to start, no smoke, and it did not overheat. I did NOT work on the breaks, so they will need overhauling, but I have all new parts to complete the job:)

To summarize.

You are looking at a rust free 1967 Morris Minor Convertible, with 83,000 miles. It will need bodywork and paint, then reassembly. Most of the parts you will need to complete the restoration, will come with the car. In addition, you will get a lot of extra spare parts.

Clean title in hand.1967 is the last and best year for Morris Minors. It has a strong running1098cc engine. 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. The body is solid and all original sheet metal.
