Having kept everything original. this car is one of the most original cars I have ever driven. Even more impressive. is the low number of former keepers. having only four recorded on the V5 registration document.
The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust has confirmed that the car was manufactured between 20 – 25 February 1963. so she has to be one of the first 'B's ever manufactured.
I can only describe her as beautiful. Having been completely restored in 1989 with all panels being replaced including the rebuilding of the front and rear suspension. at a cost of over £4. 00. she still remains in a lovely condition. I can not imagine the cost of the restoration if it was completed today! In addition a lead free head conversion was completed in 1998 at a cost of £700. which confirms the car's current excellent oil pressure. The quality of the restoration can still be seen today. with the excellent panel fit. excellent finish on the paint work and assured handling on the road.
The current MOT is until the October 2014 with the previous MOT Certificate confirming she has covered a mere 1. 00 miles within the last five years.
Obviously. tax exempt!
She has black leather seats. piped in red. with the wooden rimmed steering wheel and aluminium bonnet. She even has all of her Jaeger dials and the dash is perfect.
The painted wire wheels are complimented by the correct chrome spinners.
The engine bay is lovely and is detailed.
So if you are looking for the most desirable MGB's available. being one of the earliest available for sale today. in original specification. then please telephone me to discuss the car further.
I have today taken over fifty photographs. which shows every detail of the car. If you would like me to send you additional photographs. please telephone me with your email address.
