1969 Pontiac Firebird Resto Mod

Up for sale is my 1969 Firebird fitted with a LS. Finished in Satin Graphite. Tax and mot exempt. Engine swapped by me and has the 5.3 LM7 variant. For the swap, Holley blackheart mounts were used and Holley LS swap oil sump. The intake has been professionally shaved for the custom look and to avoid any clearance issues with the bonnet. The motor came from a good source. It was fitted to a classic car that unfortunately suffered a rear end shunt. It's clear it has been cared for due to how clean the internals looked when I removed the sump and valve covers. As part of the install I fitted many new parts such as starter motor,flex plate, o2 sensors, maf and coolant sensors, AC Delco water pump plus more. It's running a stock ecu with the relevant programme for stand alone. It has a TH400 trans so no drama there and is fitted with a VSS so the computer knows the car is moving. Push button start as the ignition switch failed but I prefer this. Suspension wise. Bilsteins all round which are perfect for this application. Ball joints and bushes have been replaced where necessary. I like my old cars to be useable and not trailer queens. However there are a few things that you can improve if you wish. The speedo isn't connected, but it does have the gauges you need. If you wish you can fit a Bluetooth dongle to the OBD and run the gauges on a iPad. Heater isn't connected, it has no headliner, the 1/4 window mechanisms need attention, they do go up and down but need a hand to go up. The trans has a slight weep when standing, not uncommon on a TH400. I have a seal for the speedo shaft on order and will be fitted if time allows. Battery is located in the boot out the way. Body wise it's a real good solid shell. It has had a couple of floor patches in the past but she is 50 plus years young. This is my second LS swap and the only reason I'm selling is the garage it lives in is being converted into a kitchen, so I need the funds and the space this car has. There will be things I have missed so please ask and I will answer. I'm open to offers but if your genuine you will be standing next to the car when they are made. Apologies to genuine folk but I will not suffer messers, so let's not waste each other's time! I'm sure your aware these cars are a good Investment and better than money in the bank. First gen Firebirds are rare now and if it had a camaro badge it would be another 10k+. Go figure. After having carbed cars for so many years it is really refreshing to have the stress taken away.
