Minimalist would be too many words to describe this car. Driving it is about as much fun as you can have whilst with clothes on.

This Model T Speedster is brand new having been constructed in the last couple of years using photographs of a period 1910 car. Somewhat longer then the 93 minutes they took to make when new!!!!

The complete chassis has been rebuilt. including a fully reconditioned engine complete with alloy pistons. a modern distributor replacing the flywheel magneto and trembler coils. fully rebuilt brakes. new transmission bands and four new tyres. Despite having rebuilt brakes we urge caution when using the car as the stopping distances are not up to modern standards.

A brass radiator has been fitted to give the car an earlier appearance which itself has been re-cored. The minimalist bodywork has been built as light as possible. consisting of bonnet. seats. fuel tank & little else.

Driving the car makes one feel a bit of a hooligan & like the kind of man mothers warn their daughters about. The straight through exhaust has a fruity rasp which changes more to a snarl when the hand throttle is fully opened. The car lurches off in first with alacrity & second is good for well over 40 MPH with hills being dispatched with ease. Driving a model T takes a little getting used to but is quite easily mastered; The floor has three pedals on it. none of which do what one might expect when pressed. Indeed at first it fells as if one may be committing an un-natural act as you pull away from the curb. but after half an hour or so it becomes quite easy.

The car comes with a UK V5. some road tax (Which we will throw in for free) & some MOT tester has risked his livelihood by issuing a Ministry of Transport certificate for the car. Driving it is a smile a minute rather then a mile a minute experience & it draws thumbs up from all who see it including a quick twirl of the blues & twos from some passing coppers who were undecided as to wether they should frown or smile.

It is in stock now & ready for its next "Wrong sort of chap" owner.
