1974 MG MIDGET 1275 - RWA MODEL - CHROME WIRE WHEELS - COMPLETE RESTORATION

1974 MG Midget MkIII

Fully restored in 2003 and finished to an excellent standard. the panel gaps are straight and correct and the paintwork has a deep shine. A new cream interior with blue piping has been fitted with matching carpets. refurbished dashboard. blue double duck hood. new bumpers. chrome wire wheels and boot rack. The engine has been reconditioned. it has excellent oil pressure and runs at 65-70psi. It is fitted with a long centre branch manifold. sports exhaust. performance air filter and up-rated ignition. The car drives very well. it was fully serviced last week and has a new MOT. I've inspected the car underneath. the floors. sills and inner wheel arch arches have been waxoyled treated. there are no obvious repairs and everything looks in good order. This is not a concourse car as there are some imperfections. There are small bubbles in the paint along the top seam of the left rear wing and 1cm on the lower part of the wheel arch. There is a 1cm bubble in the top right edge of the bonnet. the centre of the drivers door has a 5cm scratch and shallow dent which has been touched in with new paint (see close up photos). The windows of the hood have slightly discoloured with age and there are some stains on the inside of the head lining.

Vehicle details

The MOT is valid until 3rd December 2014 and it's taxed until the end of May. I have the full vehicle registration document (V5c). the chassis number matches the car and hpi clear. All photos were taken on 04/12/13. Viewings welcome. the car is stored at my home in the village of Bruntingthorpe. Leicestershire. My postcode is LE17 5QF (10 minutes drive from M1 junction 20).
