1964 MGB ROADSTER FIA RACE CAR

This car has been meticulously restored over many years for fast Road/Tarmac Rally application the owner then did not get to use it as intended for fear of damaging this stunning beauty.  So was only used on occasion as a road car due to this the car was sold to the next owner who commissioned renowned specialist s Motorsport Racing to fully race prepare the car to FIA Specification When completed the owner then sold the FIA Race car to fund another different project altogether.

The car was then bought in 2009 from Mick Whales Sports cars still in immaculate condition with the intention of being used as intended has only done one track day and a little road use as the owner not having the time to master how to compete.

The car is powered by a 1840 cc B series Engine with a Fast Road Camshaft is fitted with a 45DCOE Carburettor  Transmission is a 4 Speed Manual Gearbox with Overdrive The Back Axle is a Banjo Type fitted with a Plate type Limited Slip Differential

Safety features include Sparco Race Seats and Harnesses along with a 6 POINT Roll Cage also a plumbed in Fire Extinguisher System also a Factory Hard Top

This car is the perfect entry in the FIA Historic Racing and many other series HRDC's MGB 50 and the GTS 65 series Equipe GTS Masters Events also eligible for the Spa Endurance 6 Hour event also the Le Mans Classic  and of course the Good wood Revival comes  supplied with all relative FIA Paperwork and ready to race

This car has a Valuable Number  Plate 3 Digit /3 Letter TBA which will go with the car if the price is met
