You've no idea how reluctant a sale this is however. it has to go :0( I purchased this 1973 Triumph GT6 from my Cousin who has spent the best part of the last 15 years getting it to its current condition which as you can see. is A1. It is insured on classic car insurance with a value of £8500. 00 and I have paperwork to prove. It's MOT'd and tax exempt. Mechanically the only fault I know of is the overdrive does not work which I believe may be an easy fix? Cosmetically the interior could do with tidying but not greatly. It needs a new roof lining and if I were keeping it. I would refurb the walnut dash. Since I've had it I have purchased everything to give it a full service (oil. filters. plugs etc. ) which will all be included in the sale along with a brand new replacement boxed wooden steering wheel I was intending on fitting after the dash had been re-furbed. I'm setting a very sensible reserve based on the condition of this cracker but will not be giving away! If you bid. you buy. £200. 00 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction end and. balance in cash on collection. Obviously viewings welcome.

All - I apologise in advance for the tone of this note and it is aimed solely and specific individuals. I would suggest if you are incapable of entering half a dozen digits on to a keyboard correctly you get somebody else to do it for you! I've had two bid retractions due to "incorrect sum entered". We all know why you've done it and your user I. D's are detailed in bid history. I would politely request you bid no further and should you ignore this request. bid and be succesfull. the car will be re-listed.

I am a 100% genuine seller. We can all see the car is 100% and we all know how rare it is and what it's worth and. I will only deal with 100% genuine buyers. The auction will run to its conclusion. The winning bidder will pay £200. 00 deposit within 24 hours and hopefully collect Sunday week. I will not be bartered with then they collect. The winning bid balance will be paid in cash on collection or I will walk away. I will not entertain anybody highlighting any minor discressions on the car and bartering. It's my car and I am aware of it inside out.

Again. this is solely aimed at those that need to crawl back under the rock from were they came.

Jason.

An update - as per last note I am 100% genuine and this morning have just learned something about the little car I was not aware.  Myself and a potential bidder (lovely chap) went over the car this morning with a fine tooth comb and it's had some welding (a doubt there is one that has not. although I thought mine was)? The drivers side floor plan has had some plates inserted and is solid. The passenger side floor plan has a tiny hole. about the size of a penny coin and has no sign of previous welding that I can see? Obviously this is not enough to fail an MOT as it got one in April however. it will need slight cutting back and a plate welding in. Not an expensive fix but I would rather you were aware. Again as before I've been completely honest so as to avoid any comebacks further down the line and should any bids be retracted. fully understandable. The tiny hole is the only indiscretion (of any note) that we could find after a thorough going over this morning. The carpets in the front were glued down as I had never had them up. Obviously I was not aware as first thought. You live and learn! That said. I challenge anybody to find a better one! It's a forty year old historic vehicle more rare than hen's teeth.

All - when I purchased the car from my Cousin it came with a bunch of old MOT's dating back decade's. I was having a nose through them last night and found what looks like a photocopy of the original bill of sale to a chap in Southampton back in 1973! Point of interest? Also. probably should of said before but mileage is reading approx 75k and as I say. a lot of the MOT's are here for the successful bidder to go with the car.

Re-listed due to allegedly a persons 8 year old Son bidding previously without their knowledge and wasting my time and money!! I'm re-listing to start at a more than sensible start price with again. a more than sensible "buy it now" price. Due to the stresses of the last auction and the persons involved. my cards are now on the table and I want a new home for her but as said before. I will not give her away. PLEASE. PLEASE only bid or click "buy it now" if you're intending on concluding the transaction for the figure on screen at the time when you press the button. PLEASE don't message me asking if I will accept less than the starting price. I won't. I'm rapidly running out of festive cheer!! I've had some offers and copious amounts of interest previously and. learned some things about the little car on the way. It's not concourse. it's forty years old and like any of us in our forties. there are always going to be a few little things that need looking at. It's not perfect but it is an honest. solid little British classic that should not need a lot doing to turn it in a real sweetie. There are a couple of minor indiscretions in the paint work (they are only minor) and as said above. the issue with the floor on the passenger side. I've seen listed replacement floor panels on e Bay for approx £25. 00 delivered so add the labour (unless you can do it yourself) and. job done. When it was re-sprayed (3-4 years ago) by my Cousin. from his memory he advised the sprayer did not re-call encountering any filler. The pictures in the listing were taken by myself only a few months ago when the Sun was out. you can see how lovely she is. There is no rust/bubbling around the arches. So. to conclude and again as said before. whatever the winning bidder/buyer clicks on screen will be what is required to conclude the transaction on collection. no bartering or telling me what needs doing will be entertained. Again as above. to conclude transaction a £200. 00 deposit will be required within 24 hours and either cash on collection or. balance via bank transfer prior to collection.

I am not available during next week for viewings due to work commitments and have pre arranged arrangements for next Saturday the 14th so if you wish to view. I will be available to accommodate you next Sunday during the day prior to the listing ending that evening.

I know the tone of the above is a tad "HUMBUG" however. I hope you can see why I may be frustrated? Happy Xmas - Jason
