Hi this auction is for a 1963 american plymouth valiant v200.

It has a push button auto box and a slant six 2. 8litre engine. left hand drive. unleaded Petrol.

Very low on insurance. £69. 00 this year and that was fully comp. through R and H classic Insurance co. and obviously more economical than most american cars due to the engine size. nbsp;so could quiet easily be used as a daily driver. Shes not slow by any means though. I did take her down santapod strip one weekend to see what she could do. 19. 9 seconds. The drivers side exiting . lowmaster exhaust. that i fitted makes her sound  loads better than the original one.

There is currently no mot on her.

Ive owned her since september 2006 when she had previously been used regularly.

When i first brought her. did lots of work  on her. Mainly on the floor and interior.

All the underseal was stripped off the floor underside . nside the paint was all stripped and old seam sealer removed and then when all the neccessary holes were repaired and welded i then renewed all seamsealed areas and repainted. The old headliner werent too cracky due to water damaged so i made a  new headliner and fitted it and also fitted a new black  carpet and mats . The dash was painted and re trimmed in black leatherette. s were the door cards. The old speakers were cleaned up and hidden in the new parcel shelf that i made and covered in black leatherette. The windows and doors were resealed and new rubbers fitted. so no further water damage could occur.

Unfortunately i couldnt keep her stored her at my home address and in 2010 she got moved to storage.  This soon  became a chore to go get her from storage everytime i wanted to use her so the poor ol gal got forgotten and a bit neglected.

Then in sept 2012 i decided to get her home once more and start sorting her out again in prep for the road. But because id done the wrong thing and stored her under one of those crappy blue tarpaulin sheets her paint work was now looking very tatty. although i'd been down there and regularly turned the engine over manually. was still surprised when she started with no problems.

So anyway the roof was taken back to bare metal as the paint had all cracked and lifted and then resprayed by myself in an old white colour. The blue was also tidied up. Then all the chrome was cleaned up and refitted. The interior was surprisingly good with only a couple of cobwebs to remove. The new rubbers had obviously worked. I had originally used a grant steering wheel as the old one was damaged when i got her but I now decided to mend the original steering wheel and recover it.  I think it looks a lot better. lus it makes steering the ol girl alot easier. as im a woman and only little .

Had some problems with the brake master cylinder . The piston kept getting stuck. This has been sorted and the brakes bled. but im not happy yet with the pedal . Still a bit spongy hence why she hasnt gone for a mot yet.
