Volkswagon Syncro Doka Double Cab Pick Up Truck 4WD 4x4

Beautiful and capable truck ready for work / play - outstanding condition - doubt you will see another one like it in such good condition bodywork wise or mechanically.   This syncro has been cherished by me since 2006 and maintained regardless of cost. I am a pilot and like things to work well.  This truck has been a fine weather toy for me to pose about in :0) Engine is 1. 6 turbo diesel - runs well and starts no probs - very economical.  Gear box - full rebuild by Aiden Talbot - vw syncro gearbox specialist. Clutch replaced. Viscous coupling unit has also been replaced with fully reconditioned unit from brickwerks. Syncro 4x4 system with front and rear diff lock selectors. So mechanically this vehicle is pretty sound. ew bosch battery. cv joints. nbsp;starter plugs and lots of other mechanical bits looked after and replaced during the time I have looked after it.   The bodywork is really good- this truck is from 1986 and has benefitted from full back to bare metal baked respray a few years back along with wax oil underspray and I have maintained this condition well and had the seems treated as needed during my ownership to keep up this trucks good looks.    Wheels are excellent and were brand new at time of full body spray - proper good year reinforced tyres.   Hub caps shine well.  Vehicle is kept in dry garage.   I have just used this truck lightly for pleasure really but it could be used for work - in better nick than many trucks only a few years old.   I am selling this truck due to impending building work on our house and don't wish for it to get messed up and it is the garage loft space that is being converted.

Interior is beautifully utilitarian and has tri star captains seats in the front and a tri star 3 seat bench in the rear. Heater works well however dashboard clock is only correct twice a day.

This truck always turns heads and people love it - I love it - without fail they remark on what great condition it is in. It is very rare to see a syncro double cab pick up in this good condition.   I also will include in the sale a full year MOT.   I also have a ladder rack for it (not fitted) and 4 unused Conway off road tyres on merc rims - v. nice and perfect if you intend to venture off the tarmac with it :0)

An appreciating and increasingly rare classic utilitarian 4x4 pick up truck.
