Provenance

Only two owners prior to me. First registered 28th April 1970 to a Mr K Jones of Wilmslow then sold to Mr G Grigg on 1st September 1980. Mr Grigg undertook a full restoration of the car (photographs to prove)throughout 1984/5 including engine rebuild and then progressively upgraded and enhanced the car fitting wire wheels. driving lamps. roll bar etc. The car had been little used in recent years and I purchased the car early 2013 with a view to refurbishing for resale. Since purchasing the car has received a new MoT (to February 2013) and Tax (to July 2013). Car has had four new tyres and wheels have been refurbished Minor welding for MoT Paintwork refreshed and any corrosion remedied Underseal applied New Clutch. clutch slave and master cylinders New Bosch Fuel Pump New sports coil. distributor cap. red rotor arm. points. HT leads. condenser New floor mats

Summary

A genuine low owner British TR6 with the right spec and optional factory hardtop included in asking price. This car never fails to make me smile. it drives beautifully and the recent sunny weather has proved the perfect reason for B-road blatting. a superb British sports car with an intoxicating 6 cylinder engine that is a wonderful antidote to modern cars. Overall the car presents very well but is not perfect. rear bumper would benefit from a re-chrome. starter is a little slow but never fails and carpets are a little tired but these are small points - please email to arrange viewing
