Relisted once again due to a non paying buyer. 1st one in the U.K. We spoke. Agreed on price. He then sent an offer. I accepted. He said he would set up shipping and send a wire transfer. Then stopped responding. 2nd one has Zero feedback and used the Buy it Now. Never contacted me before or after.  So... please be serious. This is not a game. *** PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION, HAVE FUNDS AND SHIPPING PRICE FIRST. THEN MESSAGE ME BEFORE MAKING A DEAL.*** THANK YOU!I'm downsizing my collection and selling off some of my toys. I have too many cars and not enough space for all of them. I need the garage space for a project car I recently bought. That's the only reason I have this beauty for sale. So serious, respectable offers will be considered.1971 Lincoln Mark III Custom Convertible (no top). Beautiful car! Solid and straight as an arrow! All gaps and lines are straight. Doors open and close with ease.. even when on a lift. No convertible sag at all!460 with Dual 500cfm Edelbrock carbs, mild cam and Blue Thunder intake. Runs strong and smooth with a lot of power.Nice smooth paint job. Not perfect, show quality. But excellent driver quality. Minor scuff in paint on driver fender (see photo).Interior is very nice and clean. Especially for white. But front seats do show some wear.Floors and frame are solid as a rock. The whole car is solid as a rock. No patch work anywhere!New fuel pump, pressure regulator, gauge, filter and tank sending unit in 2108. 17" American Racing wheels and tires 2019. New battery, alignment, tie rods, and ball joints in 2020.I love this car! It has been a blast to drive. It gets a ton of attention every time I drive it. But living in Illinois and having 6 other cars. I don't get to enjoy it nearly enough. I've only driven it a handful of times this year. Plus, back in June I bought a 67 Buick GS400 convertible. I also recently bought a 71 Riviera Boatail. 2 cars I've wanted for a while. The GS400 is a project. It's a car I've wanted for many years. I don't need 2 convertibles. I already have too many cars. So sadly this one is up for sale. I'm not in a need the money so I need to sell situation. I just can use the garage space! So I am open to all serious, respectable offers.  You can drive it as is like I have the last 4 years. Or here are some issues the new owner may want to address...The Mark III did not come as a convertible. So it does not have a top. You can have a stationary top made. Or.. I've been told that 71-72 LTD convertible tops can be made to fit. It hasn't been an issue for me. Because it's always garaged and I never drive it in bad weather. So I never bothered looking into having a top made. I wouldn't drive it with the top up anyway.Headlamp doors go up when the car is shut off. Go back down as soon as it is started.Power windows do not work.  *Without a top. I never found it necessary to get them working.*Exhaust: I hung and clamped a pair of glass packs to see if I liked the sound. I do.. my wife does not. So I never had them welded in. I have new over the axle pipes and tail pipes that will be included. You can decide which type of mufflers you want.I do not have the app to chat. So please messege me with your questions. I will get back to you ASAP.If you're local. You're welcome to set up an appointment to see it in person. If not and you need more photos. Let me know what you want to see. Please ask all questions and have funds on hand before making this purchase. ***I will need to speak to any potential buyer before making a deal and removing this listing.*** All funds must clear my account before the car and title are released.Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. But I'm happy to assist your transporter with loading. I'm very close to an interstate. So it's an easy pick up for any driver. **When getting a quote. Be sure you ask for an enclosed trailor.**Thank you for viewing.
