 Daimler Sovereign

Lovely Project car for the winter
Not a lot needed

She's a genuine beauty in need of a new home

Purchased earlier this year to restore to her former glory. Alas. the storage facility has been lost + my health has deterioated & I'm awaiting surgery. so I have to reluctantly sell her. I've listed at a price to reflect my current investment in her and based upon values found through sold ebay vehicles and other online sites. I think at this price she's an exceptional bargain with a good profit to be made. If I had the space. health and time I would not be selling her! With an estimated extra £1000 of investment you will have an £6500 - £8000 car. A mint resto puts this model into the £20k bracket.

I purchased her through a friend who lovingly cared for her for twenty odd years - She was spared no expence and had all the usual previous restorations and maintanence (not that it means much when it's her current state that is all important) - She was always covered - She is currently not running as I have started to have engine componants restored and polished.

For me to be satisfied driving her around (and for planned film work) I was going to undertake the following:

Front bumper repair and rechrome (or the purchase of a second user unit)

Rub down and repaint of front end and door bottoms to remedy paint blisters around the headlights

Small repair to front right lower valance (weld in repair panel or metal patch and shape)

Dye headlining

Re-varnish interior walnut trim

Polish out scratch on Passenger side window

Replace door rubbers where nessesary

Cracked steering wheel trim

Replace bonnet catch cable & boot lock barrel

and to finish off I was going to replace the points. battery & filters for a reliable ride.

With a minor restoration and a few tweeks this will make an ever appreciating classic.

There are some new hoses for the engine bay that haven't yet been fitted.

Please only view if you really want it as it's stored at my friends garage.
(Pictures taken when I had her delivered - I have the rear chrome numberplate trim)

Collection from Ley Hill near Chesham (Buckinghamshire)

Non payers will be taken to a small claims court (sorry but I've been let down before + my better half is a solicitor so it costs me nothing)

I have uploaded some pictures of the interior to show the condition of the seats (no rips or tears). carpets (could do with a  shampoo) and dash. I have more. showing the door cards (all really good bar one which has tape on the door handle). the headlining and the other bits of interior trim that need a bit of work. If you supply me your email address I will endeavour to send you the images.
