MG MIDGET MK1 Almond Green. For restoration. I was informed by a very knowledgeable Spridget enthusiast That this was one of only 13 Mk1 midgets which when made were originally Almond Green. It has obviously been painted White at some time in the past. there is some original green paint showing on the centre under dash etc. I now have the Heritage Certificate to verify. It is possible that it may be the only one known. Information from Heritage certificate Chassis No G-AN1/8362 Built 1-3 January 1962. Despatched 16 March 1962. Exterior Almond Green Interior Trim Green Hood Green etc. The engine has been replaced earlier in its life so it is not the original engine. but it is a correct replacement. and was recorded in registration Documents. The Chassis/Body needs the usual work doing but is not that bad for its age. the last owner started doing restoration. I intended to start again! most of the panels needed are included as in pictures. Most original parts are there some are not Shown in the pictures. Screen and side screens. An opportunity to own a pretty rare Midget for some one. I have come to realise that I may never have the time to do the work myself. I would prefer it go to an enthusiast who will return the car to its original condition.

Hi, We communicated briefly about your Mk.I Midget when it was listed on Ebay back in 2013. I pointed out that it was one of just 13 Almond Green cars built, and recommended that you applied for a Heritage Certificate. Did you ever sell the car, or do you still have it? Please get in touch either way. Best wishes, Jonathan
