Production was cut short in 1942 as America switched to the war effort. Few people could feel good about buying anyway. A rare car, one year grill design, second year for the hydromatic. This is an original unrestored 80 year old car. The color is a Navy Blue so blue it can look black. The wheels are red. The tires are replacements certainly and have had little use. A few chrome pieces have been replaced and a seat cover added to protect the seat This was well before myself. I have not removed it for inspection as the rest of the car shows care. The interior is really nice. Worn driver side carpet and not too obvious door stain. Dash nice except loss of gloss and too much sun. Included is a correct tailored headliner with lace for installation. The original is too discolored. The car's paint looks better in photos....it doesn't shine a lot but could I suspect. This is a lacquer paint. I go by the saying a shinned old penny loses it value. I've made zero effort to polish anything inside or out, its an honest car some would say. The glass is all good maybe great. No bubbles, discoloration or cracks and I've noticed there are no scratches, like from not replacing whipper blades. Doors all close solid and windows all function.  The body is free of dents and is excellent steel. Wrapping along the bottom gives the ring you expect.  There are no rust holes or even a bubble of paint. Really amazing. The SS is really good. No dents or deep scratches. One exception is the low curbside SS trim is a little messed up. Hubcaps are really good too. Not new and not shinned up for photos either.  Surface rust on some outer surfaces and sheeting paint on the right front fender. Mechanically it has been maintained. Runs, stops and drives excellent. No smoke or noises. Shifts perfect including into passing gear, Surprising power, Emergency brake works. Has new fuel tank and battery Problems: It could use new shocks or rebuild of existing. Radio doesn't work, not sure about the on the heater...never put it on, . Bidders. The winning bidder to pay $500 deposit in 2 days and the balance by wire transfer or cash in 7 days. I can keep it 10 days awaiting pickup. Understand this. A winning bidder is a purchaser. Its not a first I want to go see it type thing. If you outbid someone to win and dont perform you have damaged the seller. Relisting because of a fallen threw sale indicates something is wrong. Not good. Thank you.
