Here we have my 1973 Jensen Interceptor Mk III. 7.2 L Automatic in Metallic Blue.

I'm reluctantly selling my Jensen as my previous project took me so much longer than anticipated as I was beset with problem after problem and I'm still not finished. I don't think I have the energy now to devote to this

My car has been in storage for a number of years now. I used to start it regularly and get it warmed up fully, however I haven't started it now in over two years since the battery died. Since then I removed the plugs and oiled up the bores.

As the pictures show, she is in need of full restoration. Sadly the previous owner was deluding himself as to what restoring a car entails. Be warned It will need more than a few trips to Halfords!

I have watched these cars climb slowly but steadily in value over the years, but not the quantum leaps that the likes of Aston's and E types have, which is a shame as they are equal in every respect. However I do feel the market will catch up in time. The purchase of another Classic car means the space is of more value to me these days.

I'm not desperate to sell, so please don't even consider throwing offers at me.

Both new and used spares for these cars are easily available.

Everyone knows about the legendary fuel consumption these cars can have. However as we now live in the 21st century things have changed. Digital fuel injection and ignition can not only improve fuel consumption dramatically but it can boost performance too.

I have an excellent contact for transportation if needed, at extra cost. I have used him several times and he has never let me down.

I welcome any inspection and I would prefer you did inspect it prior to bidding. However I accept that's not always possible. I have put a sensible reserve on it, if it doesn't reach that, then it stays with me.

It's such a shame that eBay don't do more to tackle these idiots.

Make sure you have the funds to buy this car as if you hit Buy it Now you are entering into a Legal agreement with me. After a putting up with a couple of time wasters , this week, if I have another I will seriously consider taking the buyer to a small claims court. Sorry to mention this to the 99% of decent ebay users.
