Hi there and welcome to the advert for this unique and very rare little car ,it's my mission in life to own as many rare and unusual cars as possible well here cos probably one of the rarest little cars going ,based on a 1972 fiat 500 ,the previous owner had a rusted out fiat 500 that had been his wife's main transport and couldn't bear to just scrap it so tubby was born ,the kit called an impala i'm guessing the very limited numbers Chevrolet let the name duplication slide ,the kit was designed and produced by a boat builder in Devon called Alan foulkes,I have only ever seen one other for sale before .Mike set about building this and I have to say did a great job ,it was completed in 1982 and retains all the original 500 engine ,wiring ,suspension and transmission,mike was an electrical engineer so it's completed to a high standard ,having said that the gel coat is now showing it's age but still gets more attention than a super car wherever you go ,it's not a car for shy people . Mechanical wise it starts stops and drives as it should ,I have owned it for a while now and it's been my faithful companion on Hayling island for many shop runs ,trips to the beach and out for a swift pint at the pub but like all good things they come to an end and it's time to hunt for the next outrageous vehicle ,so to summarise if you want something to just scoot about in locally here it is .i'm happy to talk to you about it ,viewing no problem I make a good cup of tea ,free delivery within 50 miles ,longer distances can be discussed ,my name is simon my telephone number is 07817  865 722 i'm located in Farnham  Surrey
