If you are in the market for a '69 Chevelle SS396 project that stands head and shoulders above the rest you'd be hard pressed to find a better example than this one.

This is a great example of a very rare and desirable investment grade classic car.  Its an all numbers matching, Cortez silver, black vinyl top and black guts 1969 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed, bucket seat, console car. What sets this car apart from most other project cars is how complete it is. You wont be spending valuable time looking for hard to find, date coded parts as they are mostly still with the car.

Engine and transmission are numbers matching with vin stamp.  Block is standard bore. Crank is standard. Also has original alternator, 7029201 carb, 1111497 distributor, master cyl, starter and 621 bellhousing (with orig flywheel) and Muncie shifter with all the rods. I have a new chrome Muncie handle, and new hood grills.

The doors, deck lid and entire front clip is all new AMD. The interior floor pans are all original.  The body is super clean. The underside was blasted, primed and painted. The exterior was stripped and primed and is ready for final blocking and paint. The doors  and hood still need to have the black electroplate stripped off. The floors were simply cleaned up and sprayed in 2 coats of PPG epoxy primer. I have the original doors with all the glass and hardware. The car sits a little low in back as the trunk is full of all the parts taken off the car for shipping.

I can provide a quote to paint the car if you wish but will need to have a discussion with buyer so I know what expectations are.  Quality paint jobs are not cheap.

The orig inner fenders for this year were/are plastic and they did not hold up. I have 1 new replacement from amd. The other side was back ordered.

All the hard work has already been done to this car. The body has been off the frame and frame was completely media blasted top to bottom and sprayed in 2 coats of epoxy primer. The frame has been completely restored. It was painted in 2 coats of semi gloss black enamel, all new suspension bushings and body biscuits installed.  All new stainless fuel and brake lines, new rotors, brake hoses, new calipers and new pads.  The rear brakes still need to be built out but I have all the original hardware. The original 12 bolt rear end was also blasted, primed and painted as were upper and lower control arms both front and rear.  The 15” rally wheels were also blasted and restored using the correct colors.

Interior has the original seats, console, dash, ect. But will all need redone.

I have brand new in the box front and rear bumpers, gas tank and sending unit all from AMD.

Cars like this dont come up very often anymore. Don't let this be the car you wish you had bought when you had the chance.
