1973 MGB GT for sale

I have for sale an MGB GT first registered in  Leicester     on June 1 1973.   The car is therefore tax exempt and has had 10 owners since then.

In 2001 the then owner sent the car to Doug Smith of MG Motorsport for

1.        the fitment of a 1935cc Fast Road Engine (£2692)

2.        a rebuild of the rear axle ( £607)

3.        the fitment of a competition type overdrive ( (£333)

4.        the fitment of a Facet fuel pump. new dash & harnesses( £901)

5.        modification to the suspension. lowered. negative camber & ¾” anti roll bar

Since then it has been fitted with a High Torque starter motor & Big Bore exhaust

The mileage then was 5304 & is now 14408

In 1999 it had a full body rebuild with new sills & castle sections by Colne Classics.   There are photos of this

Car is MOTd to November 2014 with no advisories

The body is finished in BRG & has a black leather interior & Moto Lita leather rimmed steering wheel.   Security locks are fitted to the doors.   Minilite type wheels. Sebring front valance. aluminium bonnet. head light covers.

There is a file full of invoices & photos. MOTs back to 1988

Body remains rustfree

This is an excellent car for fast road or competition use
