RELISTED DUE TO COMPLETE TIME WASTER . WHO LEFT IT UNTIL 5 DAYS AFTER THE AUCTION TO TELL ME THAT HE HAD BOUGHT AN E TYPE AFTER PLACING THE WINNING BID SO HE NO LONGER WANTED THE MGB !!!
Reluctantly due to a change in personal circumstances at least one of my sports cars has to go so here offered for sale is my beautiful 1966 MGB Roadster in tartan red. with black interior and chrome wires.
Originally restored in  around 2000. due to a mishap in the garage when a door frame fell against the drivers side front wing I had the whole car professionally resprayed in 2010 when I also replaced much of the bright work. It's in overall excellent condition save for a small hole in the drivers seat and some slightly worn piping (see picture 9)  
The car runs beautifully and always receives favourable comments when I've taken it out. but sadly I just haven't had the time to use it as much as I'd like so it has remained covered in a dry garage for most of my ownership covering no more than 150 miles a year in the last 5 years.
I've never taken it out in the wet and usually use a tonneau cover but it does come with roof frame and full hood in excellent condition.
It was also featured in 'Me and my MG' by Gordon Thorburn. published by Pen and Sword Books. if you can find a copy
