1977 Ford Bronco

Awesome customized on or off-road Bronco. This is not a trailer queen. This Bronco was built to be used in demanding condition. About 4,000 miles since several yearlong resto/rebuild by meticulous machinist/owner.

Features include a fully rebuilt Ford 351 Cu. In. Winsor V8.  With Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum head and a Holly Truck Avenger carb. Was producing 400+ HP, but detuned to about 350HP. Rebuilt C-4 automatic transmission with a shift kit for positive shifts. New power steering pump and box. MSD high performance ignition.

Power disc front brakes and drum brakes in rear. Tires are 33X12.5X15 on aftermarket chrome rims. Limited slip rebuilt differentials front and rear. 4.56 gear ratio. Drives at freeway speeds easily with big tires.

Both front and rear bumper and HD air tanks filled by a York compressor. You have plenty of power to run air tools in the outback.

Custom 6 pt full frame mounted roll cage. Note: the glove box door was relocated to open. Not possible with roll cages without mod.

Comes with an Alpine AM/FM/CD player with good speakers and a sub-woofer.

Interior floors sprayed with bed liner for easy maintenance. Just hose it out after a day in the dirt/mud or snow.

Has both a BesTop black soft top with clear plastic side curtains that snap and roll up and the rear curtain zips. Also has the original hard top with good original glass, if preferred. The top was left outside and the paint oxidized and the rubber need replaced.

Tilt wheel added for access convenience and a custom steel console was built with cup holders and the pistol grip A/T shifter shown.

Has good quality dual shocks on each wheel. Note the custom-built fold out brackets at the rear for the gas cans and the spare tire. They fold out of the way for easy access. This Bronco has a 4.5” lift kit and you can see the fender flares in the pics. It also has a fiberglass hood with the hood pins shown

Both the front and rear bumpers are pre-wired for a Tabor/Warn winch mounted on a receiver hitch quick mount platform, so you can pull yourself out either from the front or back. Will sell for addition $600 or will keep and use for my other truck. Both bumpers have receivers.

The transmission has a transmission cooler with an electric fan control switch for cool operating temps.

Old School Hella Fog lights on front. New halogen lights are much brighter, but these were top shelf, back in the day.

Overall, this Bronco is in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The fuel sending unit needs replaced and I have the new one, I just have not installed it yet.

It has gray cloth bucket seats up front with headrests and shoulder and lap belts. It comes with the original rear seat shown.

Exterior color is a 2000 Ford Forest Green.

This is not a stock Bronco; this would be considered a modified retromod or custom. This is not a garage or trailer queen. It was built to go off road with reliability, safety and class.

If you look at used values on NADA or Hagerty you will find the average retail for the 1977 Bronco's is about $60,000. This is not an average Bronco, but I built it years ago and never use it now. It is time for a new home.

Willing to have high bidder fly into Boise and inspect and demo this Bronco prior to payment in full by cashier's check or direct wire transfer. There is nothing to hide and inspecting and driving it in person will confirm it. Dana 20 transfer case is a bit noisy in high gear and may need to be serviced. No idea of actual true mileage. Mileage shown is what is reflected on odometer. Quite certain it has turned over several times since 1977.
