We are truly privileged to offer to the market this original time warp & highly desirable ‘round speedo' model being a genuine UK RHD 500F. with it's original 499cc engine. It has a warranted mileage of only 10. 00 miles from new – Yes only ten thousand five hundred miles warranted from new!

It has resided with the Lake family until we purchased it from them earlier this year. They in turn purchased it brand new from their local Fiat dealer. Mr Lake bought it for his wife on 1st November 1971 & Mrs Lake drove the vehicle locally around Staines-Upon-Thames until she became to frail to continue driving in 1984. At that point the car was parked up in their heated garage with the mileage of 10. 92 until we purchased it from their son this year. Thus a genuine 1 owner vehicle from date of original purchase until 2013.

The vehicle is 100% original and has the chassis number: 2910536 with the matching original engine number 3151743.

It is a true time warp example that must surely be the most unique in the world. as not only is the mileage warranted by the family via a signed letter of authentication. but the vehicle also comes with the original log book detailing the date of purchase & family details with address. a fully stamped Fiat Service Book & the full Fiat UK new owners pack as listed below! In all my years of dealing with the best of these cars. I have never seen such a comprehensive service book & full exceptional owners pack.

The absolutely amazing history file that accompanies this vehicle contains: The original Fiat UK Warranty & Service book (Fiat England) Ltd – All stamped by the supplying dealer at first registration on 1st November 1971 & with 4 Fiat main agent services & stamps from 520miles on 5/5/72 up to 7401miles on 28/11/77. It even notes the door key number & ignition key number – WOW. Original Fiat (England) Ltd  Service Stations UK book stamped by the supplying dealer White House Garage Ltd. Original Fiat (England) Ltd Safe Motoring hints book again stamped by the supplying dealer. looks like Fiat actually hand typed it! Original Fiat Service Stations Europa. again stamped by White House Garage. Original dealer sales tag with vehicle details. Original Fiat Manufacturers Warranty Registration card Fiat (England) Ltd. There is an original period FIAT UK spare parts bag (Well it was always serviced at Fiat main agents!). MOT check list dated 25/10/83 the last time it was MOT'd & taxed with only 10. 92miles on the clock. (The last tax disc dated 1983 is still in the window!). span >  Laleham Garage Ltd (Fiat Lancia) invoice for parts dated 1983. Fiat master care service invoice  & receipt dated 26/01/81 @ 9. 78 miles (full inspection & service). Fiat Laleham Garage (Fiat & Lancia) parts invoice dated dated 11/5/80. Fiat Laleham Garage (Fiat & Lancia) service invoice dated 15/11/79 @ 9033 miles. Letter from original owners son. as parents now deceased. confirming history of vehicle & mileage. along with that his father bought it for his mother on 2/11/71 & that she drove it up to 1984 when she stopped driving for health reasons & the vehicle was dry stored in the families garage. The last MOT certificate dated 25/10/83 along with the tax disc. which was the last year the vehicle was on the road & Mot'd carried out in Sunbury On Thames. Parts & works invoices from ourselves itemising all parts & works done to the vehicle since our acquisition in 2013. Over 50 colour photos of the vehicle at the point of our acquisition & during every stage of our most comprehensive & professional refurbishment.

Since being in our possession. we have been meticulous in our preparation of this unique vehicle prior to offering it to the market. by undertaking the following comprehensive works to concours standard: Full painstaking glass out bare metal repaint in the original colour of Blu Scuro paint code 456. The original panels. sills. doors. floor pans etc were found to be in exceptional original condition & thus did not require any new metal being let in or replaced. The car was sprayed in 2-pack epoxy etch primer before being shaped to better than factory standards. then primed with 3 coats of high build 2-pack primer. Then flatted & painted with 3 coats of quality 2-pack gloss. To complete this masterpiece the vehicle was flatted back before being machine polished to perfection. We also removed the tyres from the road wheels & shot blasted back to clean metal. then refinished these to factory specification along with fitting new tyres & new chrome hub caps along with new matching bolts. We also supplied. fitted & painted to match a brand new spare wheel with tyre.

We naturally had to remove the original engine & painted the engine bay along with a comprehensive strip down & test of the engine & component's which were found to be again as new & thus were painted to factory specifications & reassembled with new gaskets  & seals along with a full & thorough service. We fitted a new exhaust along with the brackets. hangers. elbows & again all new gaskets.   To reassemble the vehicle we fitted the following quality parts: New petrol tank. cap & sender unit (We could not save the original tank as it had started to rust internally) filled it with £25 of super unleaded. New Varta premium battery & clamp set. Brake master & slave cylinders. New brake shoes & pads. Complete brake overhaul & fluid. New front & rear badges with associated clips (We also saved the originals). new front & rear bumper sets with associated spacers & bolts etc. new front & rear nudge bar set again with new spacers & fittings etc. new front headlight units with chrome bezels. new indicators & repeaters along with all new bulbs to all lights noted in this text. new rear light units & rubbers. new rear number plate light housing. New mirrors. new engine rubbers. grommets. seals & trims. new oil filter cap. New luggage rack with associated leather belt straps & straw period suitcase. Engine heat shield pad. Number plate holders. New chrome gutter trims. New period metal number plates (We have also kept the originals). Chrome effect windscreen wiper blades along with all service items. Fuel filter. Air filter. Points. NGK Plugs. Oils. fluids etc. We have also undersealed the vehicle with Wurth spray gun applied quality underseal to protect it going forward for the next 42 years of its life.

Our associated expert trimmer also has made a new navy blue mohair soft top roof with beige inner lining & fully refurbished the original sunroof frame. He has achieved a better fit than the factory ever did!

With labour. materials & parts we have spent in excess of £9. 50 on this unique vehicle (That's not including the vehicle in the first place & transport!) & have adopted the same attitude to perfection as we take when restoring an £85k+ Pagoda. This must be without doubt the most unique. honest & best 500F in the world – Find another with this mileage. low ownership & full original service pack with a fully stamped book!

This example on close inspection looks as new. if you ever wondered what driving a new Fiat 500 felt like. then this is it! It's no doubt better than when it left the factory in 1971. it's a collectors opportunity & a superb investment. it has only driven less than 20 test miles since its refurbishment & hence this cheeky chappy is now MOT'd & being offered for sale for only the second time in its life to date!
