A special order car that has lived on Jersey all its life until September of this year. Specially ordered in Black. this is believed to be the last MGB delivered to the Channel Islands. Owned by the same lady for 30 years. it is a testament to how much she cherished the car for it to remain in the superb condition the car is  in.
With a mere 55. 00 miles covered. it is backed up a most full and comprehensive history file which include its original service book. handbook and over 50 pages of detailed bills!
Originating from the Channel Islands means its has had the most gentile of lives thus far. with a top speed of 45 mph. and with no salt used on the roads during the winter months means this is a very rust free example.
As for UK mainland registration. I am able to help with this aspect. having done it many times before. I have all the necessary paperwork. and the all important VAT has been paid on the car.
General Condition of the Car:
The panel work and paintwork are all extremely good. The panel gaps are just 'right' and the paintwork is uniform and has a real depth to it. All the correct external fixtures and fittings are as they should be.
The wheels are all near mint. naturally they are the original factory rostyle variety. Tyres being the correct factory fitments and are all 6-7mm of tread.
The interior is completely original and correct. no variations or modifications present. The original black vinyl seats are excellent as are all the door panels. dashboard and rear compartment.
The car is fitted with the original Radiomobile radio player. this has proven to be intermittant.
The boot compartment is tody and correct. Naturally the spare wheel. jack and tools are all present.
The hood is Mohair and only a couple of years old. it is still 'as new'. A hood bag is present. as the a full tonneau cover for the car. these are original items.
Mechanically the car seem to be spot on. The engine fires up immediately with very little choke. idles well. and pulls well when pushed. The car holds its temporature. and shows no maladies. it just want to be driven! The 4 speed gearbox is a delight. and the overdrive switches in and out correctly.
A stainless steel exhaust is fitted and still like new.
A really lovely example of a real classic. One of the last without being an LE. waiting to be used as either an every day car. weekend or high days and holidays car. Whilst not concourse. it is none the less a classic car which is very original and simply superb. has bags of character and feels 'just right'. if you really understand classic cars. you will understand my meaning.
