Welcome, For sale i have my 2000 Corvette C5 targa top. The car has just had a new 383 stroker engine fitted (built by Dave Jones), this has less than 1000 miles on it along with the new Timken front hubs. The car body, rear axle and transmission has done around 106k miles383 stroker kit taking the engine from a 5.7 to a 6.3ported LS1 headsTexas Speed Magic stick 3 camDynatech long tube headers with SLP loudmouth tail pipesHolley Sniper intake manifoldEagle cast crank with forged rodsMahle forged pistonsLS2 throttle body NGK coils (all 8)AC Delco plug leadsNGK plugs Mahle OEM gaskets The engine was installed and given a base tune by South lakes speed shop. As it has done around 1000 miles since going back in it will be due its first oil change soon (I have the correct AMSOIL oil and K&N filter ready for this)The oil level sensor isn't working so the dash tells you the oil is low. I just check it each time i use it to be safe. (Common fault) The engine management light is on due to the cam making the ECU think there is a missfire (this can be verified with any diagnostics equipment and cleared but will return after around 5 minutes) it is what is classed as false knock and can be tuned out The traction control and ABS service messages show in the DIC but the lights do not show on the dash. This is a common fault on the forums. TC has been disabled to stop it from nannying the power level as it's the old school rudimentary system that just cuts timing Mot until June 2022Bodywork is 20 years old and as such in need of minor TLC as you would expect of a car this age. The hood will need replacing with either a new bulged hood or a cowl grafted on to this one. it was cut in order to clear the new high rise intake and i havent got round to sorting it out. New hoods are very cheap in the states and I can assist with shipping one over for a reasonable cost The interior is black leather with no rips in the seats but the plastic trim round the bottom of the drivers seat has snapped. (I have a replacement panel for this) All seat controls still work perfectly as does the cruise control (major plus for motorway cruising)I swapped my truck for this fancying a change and because I've always wanted a C5 or C6. But I struggle a little due to the curved front end (and a lack of height at 5'4"!) I would swap for an American truck or possibly another American classic car of the value, no projects though. I am located in Welling, Kent which is 20 mins from the Dartford crossing or Blackwall Tunnel.Any questions please ask, i do have walk round videos and sound videos i can send across.
