1972 SS/RS Camaro. 350/TH400 – the motor is original. the transmission is not being a TH400 instead of a 350 so it is a 3 speed automatic with overdrive. Edelbrock intake manifold. holley carb that had a kit put through it not so long ago. aftermarket extractors. Air-con car but compressor is missing.

The car has a Dakota digital dash fitted with a red instrument display. and a matching red display (well. it will do any colour you want) Pioneer stereo with blue tooth. hands free kit. remote. CD. USB etc (DEH-8450BT) - I had fitted by Tower Audio last year for around $700 total.

The front seats are aftermarket although I have a set of original frames I purchased later that I never got around to having restored. they will need a sandblast and paint. foam and covers.

The car has central looking and an alarm.

I would rate the interior of the car as good. the carpet is new as is the Grant steering wheel. the back seat cover is average. When I put new carpet in I also took the opportunity cover the floor with hushmat.

The exterior is quite striking and is in pretty good shape. the panels are straight except for a tiny dint in the driver's side door the size of a pea or smaller. The stance of the car is more agressive than stock. which is good because it sounds pretty aggressive to match.

As my original plan was to put this on full Victorian registration (and I'll sell you the plates 72SSRS if you want them) this car has had work for compliance done however as the rules changed making life easier on club rego I changed plans and never got the final engineers report. Anyway. at least the car is safer than stock with full seatbelts front and back that meet ADR.

This car starts easily. I will make sure the engine is stone cold for any inspection to demonstrate this. I can't give you an odometer reading as the dash is not original.

Recent new bits are fuel lines + filters. fuel sender. fuel pump. water pump and radiator hoses (top and bottom). Grant steering wheel and the stereo.

Sold without RWC and no transfer of registration since it is on club reg. Import papers supplied.

The car gets a lot of attention and is fun to drive. Look for it at car shows over summer around Melbourne.
