Renault Clio williams (Ph1) 1993

Well here we have for sale my Renault Clio Williams…

I bought this car over a year ago with the intention of overhauling it – at that time I was actively looking for a phase 1 16v and the Williams was all I could find at that time so I bought it. Since then I have found my dream little red 16v and so the Williams is now going up for sale.

I had the intention of doing a full rebuild on this but once I found the valver my interest in the Williams has gone.

I bought the spares for it and they will be sold with the car. Ill list them below.

Cars current condition I would describe as a drivable classic, cosmetically she's a lilted scruffy but that's a 1993 car I guess. I had it MOT'ed a month ago and at that time the car was under sealed.

The car is on 96k miles and has a history file with 9k worth or receipts with it. The Guy that owned it before me immigrated and it was stored in the UK until he had a garage sell it for him (he had two I believe, his wife owned the other which was sold at the same time)

The car has a K&N induction kit fitted and I have bought a stock air box that will go with the car.

The car also had a dealer fit sunroof fitted by Renault (the original receipt is in the file) I have bought a spare roof skin and stock liner to fit to the car - this will also go with the car.

I replaced the Door cards as they had speakers in with orginal stock ph1 williams ones (at great expense!), it now has williams mats in aswell. 

I have also refitted the orginal sterio and the cd player is gone, thankfully it was on a prpper loom connector so no dodgy wiring. Again will upload pictures of this in the next few days. car has a cliffor alarm which if im honest is a bit of a pain in but the orginal keys are with it too. 

I will also upload a spread sheet of the history file so you can see how much work was carried out on the car over the years as theres quite a lot – Ive gone to the detail of listing the millage out so you can see it tallys up with the MOTs etc.

Theres some rust on the door seal and the drivers door – I have a new set of window rubbers to go with it as the ones fitted have bubbled. I also have a new set of unpainted hockey sticks (plastic bit under the lights) as the ones fitted have been painted when the bumper has been donein the past.

Shes has some paint here and there but again its not bad just not perfect.

Lovely drivable little classic that im just not using now I have the valver. i will add more tho this in the next few days
