For sale is a 1970 Dodge Coronet Superbee. 838cu with a 4 speed manual pistol grip transmission. This car was imported from Arizona and has an Arizona title. I intended to restore the car but another long hard winter is on his way and this will mean it will be left outside if it does not sell. The car is straight and has no rust. being from Arizona. It has had a BAD American re spray just to make it presentable to sell it to foreign buyer like me. The car has got some parts missing from it. Parts need are 2 bonnet scoops. front Valance . window chrome mouldings and front grills. Everything else is there. Interior is all re done. I have a set of original dodge steel wheels but no hub caps. The set shown on this picture is not complete and 1 was missing so I replaced it with a single wolfrace wheel.   I bought this car solely because it is a matching number car and in a 4 speed manual it is pretty rare. I have put a picture of the VIN Plate. please check it yourself as it is a matching numbers car.  I will not restore this car now till next summer so I will advertise it and see how much I could get for it otherwise will restore it may self in the summer and keep. Please call me if you are interested.   PX  are acceptable but will need to like it first. Here is my number call 07968169227.

Additional Info

The Super Bee included a heavy-duty suspension. an optional Mopar A-833 four-speed manual transmission. and high-performance tires. [ Outside. a stripe (with the bee logo) was wrapped around the tail

For the 1970 model. the Super Bee received a cosmetic redesign and a new front-end was designed that consisted of a twin-looped front bumper that Dodge Public Relations referred to as "bumble bee wings". However. sales plummeted for the year from 15. 06 in 1970 to 5. 54 in 1971— the similar Plymouth Road Runner and Plymouth Duster both experienced similar sales issues. In addition to the new looks. engine choices and "ramcharger" hood carried over from 1969. the 1970 cars from Dodge featured several new or improved options. For example. a "C- stripe" variant of the bumble stripe was offered. in addition to new high-back bucket seats. a steering column-mounted ignition and a "pistol-grip" Hurst shifter on four-speed models.

Rumors have surfaced regarding the many concept and show vehicles that Chrysler produced during the muscle car era. including the production of four concept Super Bee convertibles. The whereabouts of one 1970 Coronet Super Bee Hemi Convertible in In-Violet is known to exist in Ontario Canada. while the other three cars are unknown. but. in the following year. the company reintroduced a limited run of approximately 5. 00 of the concept vehicles before permanent discontinuation.
