Here is my recently restored xr2. bought as a project in may of this year  which I've done  the following work to.  all new suspension. new bushes. new radiator. been fully serviced. oil change/filter. plugs. leads. nbsp;air filter and it has been stripped to a rolling shell removing all interior to inspect the floor pan and removing all bodykit to inspect for rust and then any rust was cut out (small amount was found o/s rear quarter) and repaired and the car completely resprayed. After the respray the car was treated to new ford badges. new number plates. a grey stripe replaced the original red and a custom made grey xr2 sticker was commissioned. The underneath and wheel arches have been spray painted white and the unmarked refurbed alloys have had brand new toyo tyres fitted.  Whilst out of the car the excellent condition interior was completely cleaned and the refitted. Engine wise the car is completely standard the only modification being a magnex exhaust system which sounds lovely. The car comes with some history to back up the mileage old mots etc. but as always with a car of this age. condition is far more important than mileage and it is amazing inside and out! even before all the work was carried out.   I have no reason to doubt the mileage reading the guy I bought it from had the car for 22 years and his daughter owned it before him. he assured me it was genuine mileage and he even used to show the car back in the day. (maybe somebody remembers it?)

 There is some small negotiation in the price. but given whats been spent on the car I think the car justifies the price.
