Hello and Welcome back to another Route66 Classic Cars Ebay Auction. Today we have a Unreal, Original, Completely and Professionally Restored 1960 Chevrolet Impala. This 4 Door Sedan is one of the Best Examples left in the World. The quality and attention to detail and fitment is outstanding in and on this classic.

History: The cars entire History is all right here within a 20 mile radius. This Classic Impala was Purchased new here in Palisade, Colorado and is still here in the Grand Valley of Grand Junction, Colorado all its life. This area and it's climate is incredible for keeping the classics in a rust free condition as it is a high desert area with 10% humidity. The car was a one owner car till 2005 when the next 2nd owner gentleman who purchased it went full into the full restoration of this beautiful preserved classic Impala.

This is a 100% Matching Numbers car when purchased and then he (second owner) changed out these items that are now new:

The Paint Colors were changed from the Original solid Fawn Beige code 938 to, two tone Roman Red code 923 / Ermine White code 936 exterior paint colors.

The Factory Interior colors where also changed to the tri-color red / white / black houndstooth pattern code 873, from the copper / tan code 865. All restoration using original patterns and Factory 1960 materials all 100% correct.

This car shows no signs of any color change anywhere, as everything was disassembled and completely restored using the new colors and materials. This showing the great detail and time needed to do this. From the new Roman Red dash paint, to the roman red salt and pepper factory colors correct carpet.

283 ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION ARE ALL NEW OR REBUILT 500 MILES SINCE FINISHED. UNLEADED GAS UPGRADES ETC...

Note: The reason for the color change is the second owner gentleman had a 1959 Impala in Roman Red and his mom sold the car after he was drafted into the Vietnam war in 1969. His goal was to find a Chevy as close as he could here and do a restoration back to his first love... this 1960 Impala was as close as he could get!

This Rust Free Classic has only seen 500 miles since 2018 when finished. The car has been well cared for & always stored inside since day one and is now showing only 34,964 original miles. If this car has 134,000 miles I would be amazed, as the car shows no signs of that high miles and always in the local valley area since new. The interior pedals are not worn. The Glass is all original showing low miles also. Note, the driver wing window was replaced at some point with no code mark. The front windshield was replaced way way back, as it is as old as the car but has a code and is very nice with great seals. The undercarriage of the car is also very clean and shows lower miles.

The Paint and Engine was done by professional shops in Fruita, CO of the Grand Valley. 

The Exterior Paint is Fantastic and holding up beautiful as a new paint job. Base coat Clear coat. Paint rates at 9.35 out of 10.00 perfect Show Quality.

Rubbers and weather stripping is all new in the trunk and doors. All are soft and pliable. Window Fuzzies and rubber seals are new also.

The Body of this car is RUST FREE and SOLID to the CORE! Super Straight with all Original Metal. The floors and trunk are perfect as you can see by the 250+ pictures loading below. The trunk has been detailed with original style floor matting and side cardboards with the wide whitewall tire and correct factory steel nib wheel. The Original Underside is as clean as I have seen on a old chevy and no frame rust outs, or floor rot, or brace rot, of any kind found or seen. Amazing underneath. The wheel wells have a mist coat for looks and clean as can be. NOTE: You will need to re-adjust your timing and settings, fuel mixtures when taking this classic from our area of high altitude here in Colorado!

They only come original once!... and this one is the best restored survivor originals left out there! Never offered for sale before today anywhere. Please ask for any specific photos if you don't see it!
