1971 Chevrolet Split Front Bumper Camaro with a 4-Speed selling at "No Reserve"                   My buddy recently purchased this 1971 split bumper Camaro from a gentleman less than a mile from his home in Kenosha. That owner had made the purchase from his friend who had it stored in his garage with two Mid-70's Monza's. He worked out a three car deal with his buddy, so he agreed to let my friend purchase this Camaro from him. It was last registered 22 years ago in the late 90's prior to it being placed into storage. This is the first time this rare Camaro has ever been offered to the public on eBay.      If you simply double click on the main picture of the auction page then all 24 pictures will be able to be viewed in the larger size by clicking the arrows on each side of the larger pictures.     With each passing year it is becoming increasingly more difficult to find any split bumper Camaro from any of the 1970-1973 years. I listed this car for my buddy, and he explained everything he found out from the previous owner at the point of purchase.      He is a 442 guy, so he said to mention he knows next to nothing about these Camaro's except that this body style was one of the coolest Camaro's ever, and I agreed. Mostly all Camaro guys like the split bumper cars the most. He was told the engine was a new 383 Stroker Motor that has very little miles driven on it, since it was installed before it was stored away. There is an Edelbrock Aluminum Intake Manifold that was painted Chevy Orange. The guy that my buddy bought the car from placed a brand new AVS 2 Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor on this low mileage stroker motor, and it fired right up. There is also a brand new air cleaner with a brand new air cleaner filter. He said it runs super strong, and sounds great with headers along with newer extra wide mambo size dual exhaust with dual Flowmaster mufflers, so it sounds great too. There are brand new Chrome Exhaust Tips added to both tail pipes.      There is a nice set of  Red Accel Hi-Temp Super Stock Spiral Core 8MM spark plug wires with a Mallory ProMaster ignition attached to the firewall on the passenger side for maximum spark. He believes the master cylinder to be newer, and the front disc brakes just had new disc brake pads, so the brakes stop great. The heavy duty battery was purchased brand new in April of this year, so this Camaro should start right up for years to come. He said there is a 12-bolt 4.11 posi-traction rear-end, so it's more of a car to just cruise around the neighborhood. With that high of a rear-end gear this Camaro was just made to GO FAST! Not to go highway cruising! His exact words were "This car is a Beast!"     He doesn't know if it is a true Z-28, but it have the 150mph speedo, the split front bumper, the cool rear spoiler, the Z-28 white striping, dual sport mirrors, and the Z-28 wheels. He says it has an M-22 RockCrusher 4-Speed manual transmission that shifts in all four gears very nice.     The winning bidder of this Bright Red Camaro will most likely have endless thumbs up wherever they drive. You should have an outgoing personality to drive a car like this, because everywhere you go people will be attracted to you like a magnet. He said he couldn't count how many times he had people come down on his property to ask him if he would sell this car. He simply told them it was going to sell on eBay, so they will have to wait until it appears up for auction. This is a great car to show up at your local town cruise nights or for attending the local weekend car shows.    This Camaro comes equipped with Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Dual Sport Mirrors, Bucket Seats, Split Front Bumper, Mambo Dual Exhaust, and the best of all being a 4-speed car with a console. He did mention the console is a little bit loose, but the interior really looks nice as seen in the pictures. The carpet is in good condition, and a brand new set of four deluxe black carpeted floor mats were just placed on the floors in preparation for this sale.      There is a nice set of four of the original Z-28 sport wheels with a full set of four Defender SRX+4 Radial 60S raised white lettered steel belted radial tires with nice tread, and all four center caps, all four beauty trim rings, and a set of 20 brand new chrome lug nuts. The front raised white lettered tires are size P235/60R15, and the rear are P255/60R15. Just about the perfect tire size set up for a Camaro like this. There are a nice pair of heavy duty air shocks on the rear. The air access valve for the rear shocks was placed through the trunk plug on the right side of the trunk floor inside the trunk.     The trunk floor still looks in great shape. He said you won't really find an original trunk floor as nice as this one on many 50-year old muscle cars. The trunk floor was coated with AC Delco Black and Aqua spatter spray to make it appear factory correct. There is a nicely detailed jack, jack stand, bumper mount and crow bar with a full size spare inside the trunk. This way if there is ever a mishap on the road the car can be back roadworthy in a matter of minutes. There is a factory tachometer that is included under the front bucket seat that came with the car along with a newer pair of rubber door seal gaskets included inside the trunk for the new owner to install if they would like.     He said he never had the car up on a lift, but from what he saw looking under both sides of the car the undercarriage, floors, and frame all still look in good condition from everywhere he inspected. It is very hard to find a 1970's muscle car in this condition that has been in existence for over half a century.      The headliner looks nice as well as the dash pad. The sport steering wheel is still in very nice condition. There is an AM/FM Cassette Stereo, but he said he can't say if that is a factory original stereo, because he doesn't know enough about Camaro's. Apparently the stereo is not hooked up, but there is a pair of Sanyo 6X9 inch speakers attached to the rear package tray. He said he didn't see any speaker wire attached to the rear speakers, so the stereo preference will be left up to the new owner. This dash was not cut up like what was typically done in the day to fit aftermarket stereo's. He saw no evidence of this car ever being involved in any accidents. My buddy is selling this Camaro with an open, clean, and clear title that was issued in the State of Wisconsin back in the late 1990's.     The J.D. Powers Nada Classic Car Price Guide currently has the 1971 Z-28 Edition with a 350 and a 4-speed listed at $54,685 in high condition, which they consider an excellent overall vehicle that was completely restored, or an original vehicle showing very minimal wear. Note: This value does not represent a 100 point show car or a #1 vehicle. Those vehicles can reach much higher prices.    The average condition value is $40,840 which they consider in good overall condition that could be an older restoration or a well maintained original vehicle that is completely operable. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. They say an average condition car is considered a 20-Footer!           The numbers don't lie! A True Split Bumper Camaro with a 4-speed is a very valuable automobile. Many times these muscle cars bring much higher prices crossing the auction block at live muscle car auctions.      These second generation 1970-73 Camaro's have consistently shown to escalate in value with each quarter. What you see is exactly what you get!      We tried to describe all of the pertinent information, so any potential bidder can make the most informed decision possible before placing their bid. If there is anything else you feel that may have been missed, please ask any questions you like. All questions will be answered in a timely fashion.      This Cool Split-Bumper Camaro is being offered at "No Reserve" on a quick 5-day auction and will sell to the highest bidder on Sunday evening at 8:00pm Eastern time, 7:00pm Central time, and 5:00pm Pacific time. The PayPal deposit is to be paid within 24 hours, and the balance wire transferred within 72 hours. As soon as the funds are clear the title will be sent out to the winning bidder by U.S. Priority Mail that day.      This is a prime opportunity to pick up your sweet dream muscle car to be the main attraction in your neighborhood or at the local car shows in your area. My buddy has some great shipping contacts that he will be more than happy to pass along to the winning bidder.                                                    Thank You for taking the time to view this auction!                                                                         Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!
