1949 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight

I will be listing a few cars here in the next week or two for my family.  We are reducing are number of cars, so please see my other listings as well.  I am not a dealer.

Here are we have a nicely restored 1949 Oldsmobile done in great taste.  This is what we call a "rest-o-mod" which is a car that has a mostly original appearance, but drives more like a modern type car (with modern features).  This particular car would be great for someone who loves this type of car, but would prefer it to be more friendly to drive than what the original would have been.

The car starts well, runs well, and makes great power compared to an original type car as you would imagine.  The transmission shifts and operates well at all speeds.  Overall, the car runs and drives excellent as a whole.  It is very easy to drive and steer.

The car looks great inside and out!  The exterior paint is a Midnight Blue color.  It is very shiny with no major flaws to speak of.  All attractive chrome and stainless, which is a combination of restored and original.  The interior is also quite nice and a nice color match.  Engine bay and trunk are both clean and tidy.  The doors, hood, trunk all open and close with ease and all body panels line up very well.  Underneath the car looks good and solid as you would expect.  Overall, the car presents itself well and is nice enough to win a trophy at many car shows you attend.  This is a very rare and hard to find body style!
