This ORIGINAL 1965 Chevy Impala Wagon is in AMAZING UNRESTORED CONDITION. It is a ROCK SOLID LASER STRAIGHT PATINA daily driver! The motor and transmission were rebuilt recently, and it has been driven moderately since then. This Impala fires right up without any difficulty. Just a little tap on the pedal and the rear end comes to life. The original 3-speed-on-the-tree manual was replaced with the TH350 automatic transmission. Driving this Impala Wagon will attract 'thumbs up' and 'head turns' from strangers and passersby. The original owner lived in Oregon and California so the body is free of rust/rot. The exterior paint has gracefully faded and show a beautiful vintage patina. The curb appeal is truly awesome! The metal is 100% in tact with no major rust/rot issues.

In fact, the "rust" that is visible anywhere on the body is only surface oxidization that gives it an even more authentic classic look. We decided to leave it as it is so the new owner can decide to leave it patina or do a very easy quick repaint. This Impala will be the PRIDE and JOY of whoever owns it!! On the inside it sports the original interior. Although worn and weathered, the upholstery, dash, and door panels are all original.

With the newly built TH350 transmission you can cruise the freeway at 75mph and only be turning 2100rpm.  The newly tuned ORIGINAL 283 V8 starts and rumbles to life instantly from stone cold. Everything is basically less than 500 miles since it was all tuned up. The engine along with the transmission have all been reinspected to insure they perform as strong as possible. The undercarriage is in TRULY AMAZING condition. There are ZERO rust/rot issues. The underside is 100% SOLID STEEL and sealed with Black PPG Corrosion Resistant Epoxy. There will be no need to repair or replace any of this ORIGINAL GM steel. We took pictures of it before cleaning or coating it.

Over the past 56 years the factory paint finish has gracefully faded through to the primer coat in some areas and in other areas all the way down to the satin smooth steel. It has an AMAZING curb appeal!! It will certainly turn heads!

The body is completely original GM steel. The underbody is all original GM steel and is solid pristine black. It is rare to find a Chevy Impala with this level of undercarriage in tact. It appears to have the original factory windshield which is cracked. It will have a new windshield replaced prior to shipping.

Up top, the body of this Impala is 100% stock GM metal that it was born with. The patina goes on for days and is gorgeous. The body is LASER STRAIGHT! There are no major dents or dings. All the lower chrome trim pieces are perfect with only very minor aging and weathering. The front grill is GORGEOUS with the lower sections of the grill and bumper glimmering in bright polished chrome.

The roof rack... WOW! This roof rack is 100% complete and free of broken pieces. The emblems are all complete and the rear tail lights are all original and work.  This is a very nice daily driver, and you wont be afraid to drive and enjoy it everyday. We are a BASF certified paint shop. We can seal this patina in with a satin clear coat to protect it from any further corrosion and keep it deep and luscious looking. All other cluster gauges, switches, and knobs look great and appear to work. The seat upholstery, carpet, dash, and door panels are ALL ORIGINAL.
