1960 CUSTOM RAGTOP BEETLE with option to include a high spec 2332cc engine

This is a 1960 ragtop with matching body and pan. which has had a body off restoration. with the option to include a fully loaded 2332cc motor and 48ida Webbers. at an additional cost (see pics). The engine alone would cost around £10. 00 alone to build. The bug was featured in Volksworld Show 2013 and below are some details of its spec.


WHEELS

17”& 18” Billet Wheels wrapped in 205x40x17 and 225x40x18

Vented disc brakes to all four corners

Hurst Line-lock


SUSPENSION

6” narrowed and lowered front beam

Adjustable spring plates to rear


INTERIOR    

4 point roll cage with airbrushing detail

Nitrous tank with airbrushing

Modified Jetta front seats with original rear seats – all with custom-made covers.

Custom dash with Billet dials & steering wheel

Airbrushing to fuel tank and steering column

 

BODY

De-chromed body and shaved door handles with keyless entry.

Subtly widened rear wings (in metal)

T-bars in place of bumpers

Sprayed in Harley Davidson black satin paint inside and out (Unfortunately during shipping from the USA it did incur a few scratches where a roof rack was poorly fitted)

 

The car comes with an MOT and is UK registered.


ENGINE (optional extra)

High-spec 2332cc built for 200hp. CB044 Ultra Mag heads with 48IDA Webers and has not been driven more than 100 miles since the build (more details upon request)

Transmission purchased from ACN in USA and built to hold the power with all the usual goodies

Super Diff. SAW race axles

Hydraulic clutch
