BEAUTIFUL BRITISH RACING GREEN MGC GT! ONE OF ONLY 534 IMPORTED WITH A 4-SPEED FOR 1968! TWO-OWNER PENNSYLVANIA CAR SHOWING JUST 31. 00 MILES! SUBTLE UPGRADES MAKE THIS AN EXCELLENT CRUISER!! SPECIFICATIONS Year 1968 Make MG Model MGC GT VIN GCD1U1623G Mileage 31. 79 Engine 2912cc Cylinders Inline 6 Transmission 4 Speed Title Clear/ PA Color British Racing Green Interior Color Black DESCRIPTION In 1967. BMC decided to make a 6-cylinder car to one-up themselves and other British offerings with only four cylinders. The motor was straight out of an Austin Healey 3000. with a 7 main bearings and a 2912cc displacement. The MGC was new for 1968 and featured a domed hood to accommodate the dual carburetors and enlarged radiator. as well as uprated brakes. beefed up suspension and 15½ inch wire wheels. The 145 hp motors could do 0-60 in 10 seconds and could top out at 120 mph! Only 4. 58 MGCs were built over the two years of production from 1968-1969. of which only 534 were imported for 1968.

We are thrilled to offer this MGC GT Coupe! Finished in the venerable British Racing Green. this car is instantly recognizable as an English classic. The interior is done in Black leather with Old English White piping. a very nice complement to the exterior. Originally sold to a central Pennsylvania man in late 1967. the original engine has driven only 31. 00 miles in the last 46 years. The car is fitted with a fully synchronized four-speed manual transmission. genuine Minilite knockoff wheel fitted with 185/65R15 Dunlop D60 A2 tires. dual exterior mirrors. British flag fender emblems. Kenwood AM/FM radio. clock. front disc brakes. original tool kit. rear vent windows. and more! In addition. the car is fitted with ceramic headers and a performance exhaust system with a dual stainless tip that really brings the Healey-derived 6 to life. The car is currently equipped with Koni front shocks. new front brakes. a rebuilt steering rack. all new front suspension and rubber including trailering arms. bump stops. control arms. sway bar. outer tie rods. The car has new air horns and a chrome expansion tank. Finally. the car has a new transmission mount.

The MGC was killed after only two years of production because it was such a substantial revision of the MGB that people had grown to love. The engine. despite making a substantial amount more power. added over 200 pounds to the front of the car. creating handling characteristics that some found undesirable. Today. the limited production of these cars has made them among the most popular and valuable MGs ever made. Just ask Prince Charles. who took delivery of one in 1969!

This MGC is sure to make any British car enthusiast excited. A two-owner Pennsylvania car. you will be delighted to shift through the crisp gearbox and hear the sound of the exhaust resonate through the cabin! This car presents an excellent (and very much drivable) investment. Act quickly as we predict this car won't be here too long! And of course. please feel free to call with any questions. request additional photos. or stop by for a closer look! We look forward to working with you!
