England over 45 years ago 1966 Jaguar E-Type XKE Series 1 2+2 Coupe! This is a truly marvelous example of this coveted first series of E-Type Jaguars. with the legendary glass covered headlights. small 'mouth' opening at the front. 4. 2L liter engine with the triple SU carburetors. aircraft style toggle switches and rear tail and signal lamps positioned handsomely above the chrome rear bumper! It is also of considerable note that this fine example has been in the same original southern California family ownership for over 40 years! So here it is. a completely restored and southern California 1966 Jaguar XKE E-Type Series 1 2+2 Coupe with the desirable optional 4 speed manual transmission coupe with it's original matching #'s 6 cylinder 4. 2L/265HP engine with four original Jaguar chrome knock off spoked wire wheels. factory tools. jack. mallet. manuals and spare chrome wire wheel! 
The car had a full restoration including body and paint. complete interior. rebuilt brake system. all chrome replated. new clutch/flywheel. new hoses. new rubber seals. new U joints. new bushings. new timing chains. new pistons. rebuilt differential. flush transmission and differential (well over $50K in receipts). We recently purchased the car from the daughter of only the second southern California owner's who had owned the car for over 40 years and the car had been in storage since 2001. We recently serviced the car at our British car specialists the renown 'British Car Clinic' of Santa Monica. California and spent over $4K to ensure the car was turn-key ready for only its third owner!

The floor boards and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free! The car has no signs of any accidents of any kind and has a razor straight body. It's 'British Racing Green' color paint is show quality having been stored in the garage since its restoration and the car's interior is as new.
