This beautiful Montclair has been body off the frame restored. The mechanics were rebuilt and the cosmetics are fresh.

EXTERIOR: What a gorgeous car, you're certainly going to notice this one coming. Very clean body is straight and smooth all over. All the panels line up very well. Repainted it's original Carmen red. It has a very smooth, glossy finish. I'm very impressed with all the chrome and stainless trim. The moldings are straight and polished. It has the optional rocker trim. The bumpers, grills, all the medallions, hood ornament, tail lights look like they're new. It has a nice set of original dual deluxe mirrors. The white convertible top is new, the cylinders and hoses have been replaced. The windshield is real clear. Weather strips have all been replaced. Reproduction Firestone white wall tires are on red painted rims with real nice Mercury hubcaps.

INTERIOR: Just as beautiful inside as it is outside. The two tone red and white upholstery matches the door panels and it's all new. All the stainless trim is shining bright. The dash area is beautiful- the knobs, lenses, gauges are real nice. It has a beautiful steering wheel. Everything is working including the clock. New wiring throughout the car. The Mercury head even lights up in the back seat.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Upgraded with a 312 motor that's been completely rebuilt. Carburetor was rebuilt. New radiator looks original but it's aluminum. The heater core was replaced. carburetor was rebuilt. It features power steering and power brakes. It also includes a unique suspension lube system which is not working but makes a good conversation piece. It has a reproduction battery with a disconnect switch. All the components are clean and proper, all the finishes are smooth and painted.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid clean metal has been painted red. There are reproduction plaid mats, new well liner and weatherstrip. It have a matching Firestone white wall that's never been used on a red painted rim. It also has a restored jack assembly. Shop manuals are included.

UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the frame for a complete restoration. The entire chassis is restored, up front all of the steering and suspension has been replaced- bushings, ball joints, steering components, power steering control valve, shocks, springs etc. In back it has lowering blocks, shocks are replaced. The fuel system was replaced. New dual exhaust system. Brakes were rebuilt, hoses replaced, e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it's clean. The Merc-o-matic transmission was rebuilt. The floors are all clean, smooth metal painted red oxide primer and clear coated for a protective finish.

Pulling into a car show what do you think's going to draw more attention: a Camaro, a Mustang or this car? It costs less than most the Camaros we are selling but it looks like it should be three times as much. Only 300 miles since the restoration was finished.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

About Volo Auto Museum

No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.

Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.

Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn't have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else's.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn't sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
