About this vehicleThis 1970 Subaru 360 is an original. The owner has had it for 5 years. The vehicle needs work and is not regularly driven.

Seller's NotesOriginal sign written Van of Chalet Pizza in Minnetonka. It delivered pizzas in the 70's (in all weathers, including salty roads) until it stopped working, then sat outside the store as a not so mobile sign. Needs everything fixed. I was going to part it out but don't have the heart to break it up. I have repaired worse though. I could include a better chassis from another van I have if you are thinking of restoring this body. That chassis has a good gas tank, steering rack and better front brake parts, but the lower mount for the rear suspension has been cut to fit a Type 4 VW rear suspension at some point and will need to be repaired. I have a clear Colorado title in my name. The key I have does open the engine compartment but doesn't work in any other lock including the ignition.

Vehicle Details

1970 Subaru 360 Van. Mostly complete vehicle, good for parts or a big restoration. Non working brakes but most parts are there, engine doesn't run but does turn over by hand and interior is complete but rough. Very cool rare Van but is in poor condition.
