This is a 1937 Packard 1501 Super Eight Formal Sedan. It is in complete original condition. It retains it Beautiful, original, Black Lacquer finish with Apple green Striping. There is no signs of rust anywhere on this Automobile. It has never been in an accident. The leather top is in pristine condition. All the chrome is original and it Gleams. The radiator, chrome is in my opinion, is excellent and the chrome shutters work with the gas diaphragm perfectly. The interior is all original and it is a tan mohair. It has the crank up division glass for the privacy of the rear passengers. There are 2 jump seats in the rear passenger compartment also. The front chauffer's compartment has heat and defrost and works great. All the wood graining dashboard and garnish moldings are original shape. The engine runs smooth and does not burn oil and it has been serviced. The carburetor has been rebuilt buy Stephen Babinsky of Automotive Restorations of Lebanon N,J. The brakes and master cyl. have been rebuilt and brake lines are original and are perfect.  All the lights, head lights rear lamp lights and brake lights work. This has the original 6 volt system with a new 6 volt battery. The exhaust is stainless and is new. Front shocks and rear have been restored. A little history on this Packard. It was ordered by Atwater Kent who was the inventor of the Tube Radio kit that you could order and build yourself, located in New York City. It was built at the Packard Plant in New City and delivered to Atwater Kents summer home in Bar Harbor Maine. There were 4 owners before I purchased it from a collector in Seabrook New Hampshire.
