A fine example of a rare and desirable model. being one of just 98 built. The car is finished in the original colour. Ming Blue. with a good. original beige leather interior. excellent. re-finished woodwork. and a nice set of factory lambs' wool over rugs. The car is smartly presented. running nicely. and driving well. Complete with invoices for various maintenance attention in recent years. including major work on the braking system. servicing. etc. Fitted with Bilstein dampers to stiffen the ride. which is a very worthwhile upgrade. and offered MoT tested until November 2014.

Snippets: The first owner of CBH2128 was A S Stalbow a “Vintner”; the 1st charter of The Vintners (one of the 12 Great Livery Companies of London) dates from 1363 and gave far-reaching powers – including the right to buy & sell herrings to the Gascons! The Vintners main concern was with the importation. regulation & sale of wine; by the 1500s their importance had declined & in 1666 they suffered the loss of many of their London properties in the Great Fire. At one time the powers that the Vintners had included the privilege of selling wine without licence in London. within 3 miles of its walls and in certain specified ports & thoroughfare towns between London / Dover and London / Berwick. Today the Vintners Hall in London is open to the public who can tour the rooms with their historic portraits. collection of silver. enamel & wine labels.
