(Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.)

Built in a traditional style, this dropped - and jaw-dropping '57 Ford Pickup has all sorts of great custom touches to take in. A good look at all the photos of this truck is in order to really appreciate it. Our client had a vision to build a truck with an aggressive stance that's powered by a modern power plant of some sort. The finished product that you see here is a show stopping truck with plenty of power underfoot.

A story we often hear about custom builds is that the owner knew exactly what vehicle that they had in mind for a project - often right down to the year. This truck was no different, our client knew the year and make of truck he wanted to use as a base for his project. This '57 was sourced from Arizona approximately 10 years ago as a solid start to realizing a vision he'd had for quite some time. This custom is finished in PPG Pearl Metallic White and Tuxedo Black which are separated right at the chunky body lines from front to back. At the front of the truck, the bumper was deleted which leaves the large chrome grille section, headlights, and the famous Ford "V8" logo at the center of the grille. The hood has been treated to 8 rows of custom louvers, along with the tailgate which features 9 rows of custom louvers. All the exterior logos have been deleted throughout the truck, and '56 Pontiac tail lights were added to the rear just above where the rear bumper would usually be. 15-inch Rocket Racing alloy wheels peek out from behind the fenders on all four corners.

Such a nicely styled exterior must have a nice interior to go with it. A half-ton Chevy truck seat was modified to fit the cab and covered with vinyl upholstery in black and white with traditional style pleats. Side and door panels, and black loop carpeting were also added during the full interior customization which was completed by Rex "Moon Dog" Parsons. Pearl Metallic White paint is carried onto the top of the dashboard and the door panels. Dakota digital gauges sit in the factory gauge locations and are flanked by some black and white accents. Other interior highlights are a Lokar shifter, Vintage Air controls on the dashboard, JVC stereo hidden in the glovebox, Rockford Fosgate speakers, and tilt steering wheel.

Under the louvered hood is a 5.4L V8 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor engine with a Kenne Bell supercharger strapped to the top. Similar to the black and whites out in California, except for that supercharger and the supporting mods. The engine features a number of choice details in the form of hypereutectic pistons, aluminum heads, cast iron block and crank, and sequential electronic fuel injection. Gear selection is handled by a Ford 4R75W transmission, and power is delivered through a custom driveshaft from D&R Driveline. Other power plant highlights are aluminum radiator, aftermarket cooling fans, Trick Flow valve covers, 2 ½" dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, and 3.55 gears. This classic Ford truck's stance is achieved thanks partially to a Crown Victoria independent front suspension, and Crown Victoria 8.8 rear end that includes a custom 4-link, and panhard bar. The suspension components are fastened to the original frame which was sandblasted and refinished.

We always like to pour over the details of our customer's projects when the vehicles are in our showroom, and we have the honor of selling them. This pickup, which was carefully molded into our client's vision of what a '57 Ford should look like is impressive, and full of details. We have to say that we like his vision, and the finished product. Make some room in your collection for this low, lean, ride. Cruising in style and comfort is in the cards for the next owner, thanks to the custom aspects of this traditionally styled pickup. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you for looking.

About Garage Kept Motors

Garage Kept Motors, LLC specializes in classic and specialty online auto sales.

For our consignors, we are the only auto brokers that offer a Transparent Sale Disclosure. This means, when a car sells, we provide an exact copy of the Bill of Sale. We do this so our clients know exactly who bought their car, where it went, and most importantly how much we sold it for. No funny business.

For our buyers, our vehicles are listed on the Internet, with over 100 photos, including undercarriage pictures, and walk-around videos of the vehicles running plus a narrative-style write-up of the cars history and features. Our international exposure allows us to sell cars across the globe, and we sell a majority of them out of state and overseas. We deliver honesty and consistency in our photos and descriptions, a “no surprise” approach, so buyers, both near and far, can invest with confidence sight unseen. We are not a gallery. Vehicles can be seen locally by appointment as potential buyers are given our undivided attention.
