GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1978 Chevy Corvette Silver Anniversary Edition for your consideration! This Chevy Come in a Silver paint job complemented by a black and red interior. The original believed to be numbers matching engine has been rebuilt to have about 300hp. The original transmission was replaced with a 700R4 overdrive transmission. The rebuilt engine and 700R4 transmission have less than 20k miles on them. The rear-end (suspension, mounts, cross members, half shafts) has been replaced. The AC has been updated from R-12 to R-134A and blows cold. The tires have less than 10k miles. The car has t-tops; currently, smoked glass tops are installed and comes with the original painted tops. The original seats have been replaced with leather c5 seats. The stereo has been upgraded and includes an XM. So if you are in the market for a clean well gone through C3 this is the car for you! Please call or email us today for more information.

The C3 generation of Corvettes were the stingrays patterned after the Mako Shark II designed by Larry Shinoda and executed under Bill Mitchell's direction. In 1970 the fender flares were designed into the body contours to reduce wheel-thrown debris damage. Additionally, new egg-crate grills with matching front fender side vents and a larger squared front directional lamp became standard. The Interior was tweaked also with redesigned seats and a new deluxe interior option combined wood-grain wood accents and higher-spec carpeting with leather seat surfaces.
