Rust free original metal. Custom suspension, 4 wheel disc!

Stock #:

V19577

Exterior Color:

Hugger Orange

Interior Color:

Black

Body Type:

Coupe

Transmission:

6 Speed

Engine:

LS-1 5.7

Mileage:

Old school style with modern performance. Upgraded LS motor, 6-speed trans and custom suspension. It's a blast to drive. Rust free original metal!

EXTERIOR: More time I spend looking I see it has a really dry, clean original body. I couldn't find any splices in the quarters, they look to be all original. Bottom door edges are crisp and clean. It is straight and the gaps are great. It has a metal cowl hood, front and rear spoilers. Repainted Hugger Orange, has a very smooth finish. Correctly painted on hockey stick stripes, no vinyl top. It has the exterior trim package which includes stainless steel moldings and the louver trim on the quarter panels. The bumpers, emblems, mirrors, handles, correct antenna are all shiny. The stainless moldings look like they've been replaced. Door jambs are clean, weather strips, sill plates and window seals were replaced. It's rolling on 17 inch billet rally wheels with chrome derby caps and performance tires, a little bit wider in the back.

INTERIOR: Overall it's in very good condition inside. Reupholstered houndstooth seats, door panels have been replaced, dash pad is new. Nice carpet on the floor with embroidered floor mats and a Hurst shifter sticking out of the hump. My favorite part is the upgraded Retrotech gauges, they look vintage with modern technology. It looks like the heater control panel is new.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's has what everyone wants, an LS upgrade. It's an all aluminum 5.7 LS1 motor with an SLP throttle body, Fast injection rails, stainless steel long tube headers, a Moroso catch can and a custom air intake tube. It has the modern serpentine belt and pulley system, modern power steering. The power brake booster has a Wilwood master cylinder. A big aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps it running cool.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very clean original metal. I don't see any cuts or splices in the floor or quarter panels. It was given a coat of spatter paint. The trunklid and jamb are painted orange, new weatherstrip. It includes a car cover.

UNDERSIDE: It has an upgraded custom chassis for improved handling. Up front is all rebuilt and has tubular QA-1 control arms and adjustable coil over gas shocks, Hotchkis sway bar. It has frame connectors tying the front to the back. In back it has gas adjustable QA-1 shocks, new springs and bushings. Great sounding custom stainless exhaust with polished MagnaFlow mufflers and x-pipe. Upgraded brake system has drilled and slotted disc at all four wheels, stainless braided hoses, the e-brake system is hooked up. New fuel system including the tank, sending unit, proper fuel pump and high pressure lines for the fuel injection. The oil pan is aluminum, has high torque starter. Tremec 6-speed transmission with hydraulic clutch. New U-joints. 12-bolt rear end with a chrome cover. The floors are dry solid metal.

If you like the original looks of the 69 Camaro but enjoy the performance and reliability of a modern driveline, this car is for you. Finding one with clean original metal is a rarity!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.

About Volo Auto Museum

No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.

Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.

Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn't have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else's.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn't sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
