Technical specifications, photos and description:
N. O. M. 327 engine, four-speed transmission
Red with black interior and a white soft top.
Body on this car was redone years ago an the flares were added, the previous owner was going after a hot rod look. the flares are actually done very well! The previous owner owned this car 40+ years. It has an older red paint job on it that is overall in good condition, it is a driver quality job, it does have nicks and scratches and some small cracks typical of most c2's. The headlights are still intact, have not been glassed over, and roll with excellence because the motors have recently been rebuilt. The car had rally lights down in the grill area, so the normal headlights are currently unhooked, and need hooked back up. The housing's, rings , and bezels are included in the sale. The glass is all in decent shape. The hood and the rear hatch and the doors shut nice, line up pretty good, and close easily. The white soft top is almost new and works well. The top frame is in good shape. There are no front bumpers on the car, the rear bumpers are in Fair condition, the driver side bumper has some wrinkles on it. The car has new wheels and tires, and a factory style side exhaust. There is no grill. Car needs a little fiberglass repair behind the pass side rear bumper
The interior is black in this car. The door panels and seats are in decent condition, the carpet is in decent shape. There is no carpet in the rear of the car. The correct corvette seats are just sitting in the car, not mounted and need tracks. The dash was previously recovered by an amateur, and then dyed black. I feel the dash could use recovered. The radio is there but I don't think it currently works, the glove box liner and door are there also. The driver side inside door handle does not work, I believe the rod came off, you have to reach out side to let yourself out.
The car has a 327 N.O.M. in it currently with a four-speed transmission with a hurst short throw shifter!. The car has electronic ignition. The engine casting number is 3914660 and the engine suffix is HM. I believe its a 327/300. It runs and drives, stops fine, and was on the road as a local daily driver. However it does need some tlc, a good tune up would help, and some finishing touches. The car has power steering and power brakes.
This car is a running/driving project that would make somebody a fun car for a reasonable price, please keep in mind it is still somewhat a project, there are always things to do on a car like this.
The car is located in central pennsylvania, 1 1/2 hours from Carlisle Pennsylvania. It is available for inspection anytime.
I require a $2,000 non-refundable deposit (would prefer to use paypal instead of ebay!!!!!) and balance prior to pick up or shipping. I live near the main highway in our town, pick up would be easy. If you're coming to the Corvettes at Carlisle show, I am not far from there.
This is your chance to own the cheapest running/driving C2 corvette on the market. For the money it is a very good car and will only go up in value. 8145990381 for info for serious buyers only!
I bought this car to use as a hot rod for running around town, and have not done too much to it. Since then a 67 big block coupe i've been trying to buy for a year came available and i purchased it so some things have to go.
Also have a 69 rsss matching #s, 3spd,air,tilt,power windows for sale, not cheap but its all there, just out of 30+ years of storage
