This fine example of a 1970 VW type 2 panel Van has a lovely retro camper conversion.

Fold out, full width bed as you would expect, ample storage and a fantastic stereo system.

Original steel wheels powder coated chocolate brown to contrast the body colour and the chrome dome hub caps just make them pop!

Since owning this wonderful old girl I have had what little welding she needed done by Slambasadors and the electrics all sorted by Iain Burns of air cooled autoelec.

This is an opportunity to own a very rare uncut original 1.6 single carb type 2 panel Van with a ton of character. Hidden away under the back seat is a lovely late 70s, early 80s drive away awning that I have aired, cleaned and rewaterproofed as I don't honk it had seen the light of day for many many years!

She is 51 years old and has a few little patches of surface rust but it's nothing more. She could (in my opinion) use a little interior update/retrim as the seat fabric and curtains are very 1970s but that said you could say they are period correct. Runs and stops as she should and driving her is an absolute joy!

Both the Van and I will be at BugJam this weekend (23,24,25th July) so if you'd like to view her please send me a msg and we'll sort something out.

I'm asking a firm £14500 as old commercials are as rare as hens teeth and as a wise man once told me “if you think the price is a little high then find me another”
