1951 Chevrolet Styleline DeLuxe sedan   All Original!  Never been restored! 11. 55 miles (considered actual) 216. 5 six cylinder (92hp) mated to the three-speed manual transmission.  6-volt system with oil bath breather. Paint is original. but is above average for 62 years! Paint is shiny and glossy but shows crackling. flaking around edge of trunk/decklid and bumpers. nbsp;faded spot on passenger side roof. General tires 6. 70-15 are new. Vin  no. is 3JK-F84098 and decodes as the following:  

3 = manufactured in St. Louis MO assembly plant  J = 1951 model    K = model: DeLux 2100 Series    F = month manufactured-June 84098 = sequence number of production

The vin plate is on the driver's side. front door hinge pillar.  The specs on the six cylinder manual transmission:  overhead valve. cast iron block. 216. 5 cubic inch displacement.  bore & stroke 3-1/2 x 3-3/4.  Compression ratio:  6. 5:1. Carter/Rochester/Stromberg one barrel carburetor. brake horsepower: 92 @ 3400 RPM. four main bearings. solid lifters.

Plate no. : 51-1069. body no. S26937. trim no. 201. paint no. 442 (Mayland Black). TOP ACC. Body by Fisher.

Interior is equally above average for 62 years; gray striped mohair wool. original carpet. rubber flooring. handles and panels.  Cranks right up and runs great!  This vehicle was purchased by a friend who purchased it from the Missouri ownwer's estate.
