Up for sale is the original "PHUNKY 32," the personal hotrod of and built by suspension Guru/renowned custom car builder Ken "Posie" Fenical back in the early 1990's. The body is the first Brookville Roadster ever made which was given to Posie in body panels. The frame rails have been sectioned and pinched to give this high boy a killer stance. The wheel base has been stretched 3 inches for more leg room and a better ride. The frame rails have been boxed and there are multiple cross members and inner roll bars which strengthen and quiet the ride and improve handling. The front straight axle and the wishbone are dialed in to perfection. This roadster can do 80 mph all day with one hand on the wheel. The rear suspension is hidden parallel leaf springs which give the short wheel base a smooth ride. The gas tank was moved forward and enlarged to 28 gallons and an original style gas tank was installed, which had its bottom cut out to hide the modern rear suspension. It's a really cool setup. This Roadster has been driven from the East Coast to California three times in its life along with dozens of other road trips and is built to drive. The super smooth laser straight two-stage PPG black paint is as good as gets. The custom interior is newly installed distressed leather with killer stitching and German wool carpet. The gauge cluster including a rebuilt vintage Stewart Warner 5 inch 150 mph Police Speedometer, Tach and super rare 2-3/8" curved glass gauges that took years to acquire. The drive line is a Edelbrock crate 302 motor mated to a C4 tranny with an 8 inch Ford rear with highway gears. The front brakes are So Cal disc brakes hidden in Buick drums and the rear brakes are drums, which give the vehicle very short stopping distance. It has a full custom Hartz top and side curtains that easily store in the trunk as well as A/C for those hot summer days. The headlights are highly sort after E&J's and the tail lights are 1930's Chrysler Airflows. The rims are 1938 Hudsons with one off custom Bee Hive hubcaps. There are too many options and custom touches to list. If interested, I have the original windshield, top and fenders of the Phunky 32 that are included in the sale.

This is not a "Cookie cutter catalog built hotrod." A lot of time, thought and attention to detail and function went into this build. In 2017, she was invited to Concours D'Elegance in Amelia Island, and won best hot rod in 2018 at the Concours D'Elegance in Greenwich, CT as well as best bitchin' ride at the Good Guys show and has appeared in numerous magazine spreads. It is one of the nicest and most reliable straight axel '32's out there. A truly no expense spared build with rare vintage parts you would be hard placed to fine.

You can shop with confidence that this  vehicle is top of the line and is everything listed in this ad.  Thanks for looking. If you have any questions, please give me a call. I would be more than happy to speak with you and help with any logistical issues with shipping. Please call between 8am-8pm eastern standard time at 631-445-1850  Dan
