1971 Volvo P1800E
What a ripper little car. I have owned it for a few years. but unfortunately have run out of space to store it. so she has to go.
Originally a QLD car. it came to me via Sydney. and now resides in leafy Melbourne.
It is an absolute head turner and gets a lot of comments.

It is predominantly original. and all parts I have replaced. I have ensured I have sourced all original parts. The only non original modification I have made is the addition of a multi-spark ignition system and new battery for starting on cold winter mornings. and I have to say. that after sitting in the garage for nearly 4 months untouched. it turned over first go. and never missed a beat.

I have also had the entire wiring loom serviced. as well as a full tune done only 4 months ago. since then. as mentioned it has done very little.

Mechanically it is in amazing condition. and I have driven it across country and to and from Sydney without any hiccups.

Naturally on a car this age there are a few issues. and I have tried to show images of these as best I can. There is a little bit of rust in the tail section. that the previous owner has patch repaired.

The ignition barrel has also been removed by the previous owner (as he snapped the key off) which happened alot on the original ignition. I have sourced a new barrel and steering lock. The throttle pedal has been replaced with a non original version. but a new one comes with the car. All parts I have will come with the car.

I have also had the windscreen rubbers replaced. as well as replaced trunk seals. tail light seals. new boot. door and fuel gate locks all round. and installed new boot lifters. and rubber boot lining also come with the car. I have replaced the windscreen wipers with original new chrome.

All in all this is a wonderful little car. great fun to drive. highly collectible. and great value at this price. I hope it goes to someone who enjoys it as much as I have. I'll be very sad to see it go.
