In 2012 when Mitsubishi Motors decided to open up its Heritage Collection to raise awareness of its historic past, it was this actual car that they chose. The car comes with an excellent history from its early days to present and a fully detailed maintenance schedule from Mitsubishi Motors during their ownership. Further to this, the car will come with spare keys/fobs as well as a stack of memorabilia including many brochures and a magazine feature on the car will be supplied along with an accompanying letter of authenticity from Mitsubishi Heritage.The Starion 2.0 EX was a car that was ahead of its time brimming with technology and when it first appeared in the UK the market was nervous of its claims. However, with a maximum speed of 143mph and an excellent 0-60 time of 6.9 seconds, at the time it was the fastest 2.0 litre production car on the road. No wonder it went on to win many awards in the world of motor sport.About the car - as youd expect from its prestigious long-serving owner, the presentation of this car is exceptional and very close to concours, whether it is inside, outside or underneath. Whilst at Mitsubishi Heritage it had plenty of replacement parts fitted over recent years and has been impeccably well serviced, including a full mechanical check within the last few months.
